View this email in your browser

We're happy you're here!
And now we want to help you get organized in 2017. As a special thank you to new Rebel customers only, you can now transfer-in up to 10 domains for just $5.99 each. This includes all of those .com, .ca, .net, .org, and .co domains you might have floating around the Internet with other providers.

Since this is an unadvertised sale that is only for new Rebel customers, all you have to do is head to our handy transfer-in page to get started. Once you've added the domains you want to transfer to us, enter the promo code TRANSFERTHX in the cart.

But hurry, because this special promotion ends in only a few weeks!

Transfer-In for $5.99

at 6.2 total cost... that's not even worth the toruble.. for a company which is not top10.
they had some neat coupons for $2 transfers last year.. but I guess this time aorund their budget isn't as....generous.

cheers

it's worth it for .co transfers.. I transferred out 2 .co's but now I think the promo's over.

The transfer code TRANSFERTHX is still working.
That's how they define new customers available for this promotion: “new accounts” that have been created after March 2016

This offer is only good if you received the email and then it's still a maybe!

If you did receive the email and it is still not working, get on chat or send a ticket. Since the code was not supposed to be shared they are MANUALLY checking accounts, AND some people have gotten the email AND contacted support AND still don't qualify, so nobody get your hopes up.

Final cost with ICANN is $6.17 - There is a maximum of TEN

A week ago I started the process on three names, sloooow couple days to even get the initial emails, went back to check on them and was reminded how tedious their UI is. Decided to pay slightly more at MyDomain just to not have the hassle LOL

The warning is they renew like 45 days EARLY and you have to special request auto renew off. Early transfer is recommended, and even them some members reported being charged for domains that weren't even there anymore.

transfer in up to 10 domains for just $5.99 each to Rebel includes all of .COM, .NET, .ORG, .CO and .CA domains.
Plus with $0.2 ICANN fee, in total, you will have to pay $6.19 each domain

Just remember to REMOVE your credit card from your billing info page in your Rebel account. Otherwise, they will AUTO-CHARGE your card for renewal several days before your domain expiry. And there is no way to turn-off this auto-charge feature yourself. You have to contact their tech support each time.

And when you remove your credit card from your account, they will automatically switch-off many features associated with your domain, like the ability to change nameservers or send auth codes.

then when new promos arrive, or you need to pay for osmething again, do you just re add your card each time.. if so, what is in your view a more efficient method, to re-add card easch time, or to call or email tech support to cancel auto renew?

I am asking cause I do not know
thanks for info

You can re-add your credit card again when you need to. However, they will charge you $1 when you re-add your card just to verify it.

I use a debit card. I just fund my debit card when i need to pay something. After purchase, my card is empty, so their auto-renewal will fail. It's annoying you cannot switch it off. Sometimes they attempt to charge your card, even if the domain is already out of Rebel and transferred to a new registrar. It's unbelievable why they do this.

@Constantin S - glad you posted, I ignored the newest email thinking it was the same offer and code

NEW code transfer2017 includes COM NET ORG CA price total $6.17
Nice that it includes everyone this time, they must have had a bunch of complaints and did the honorable thing to not exclude

Compare this deal to others here:

I am getting $8.00 for transfers not $5.99. Is it still working for you at $5.99

@CamMK27 - my best guess is a currency conversion issue - the $5.99 is USD : wink :

If not, get on with chat

LOL...maybe that's one of their strategy to earn more money :)))

I have found Rebel customer service to be pretty good. As some have said the renewal fee is high and hard to turn off. So when I found my cc debited unexpectedly as I had not known they were on auto renew I contacted them. well they reversed the charges for me without any issues.

Also, I asked them to do a quick approval for some transfer outs the other day and they also did that for me so I did not have to wait the standard 5 days.

Overall they are OK, I find their interface a little clumsy and I like simplicity like how Name.com have their interface but they are helpful and will look after you if you contact them,
