This story starts with DNF; a barren wasteland that once was a leading forum within the domain industry. While the forum itself played a huge role in propagating the myth that is Adam Dicker, the story really begins with DNF College in the summer of 2011.

Updates / Reports
These are in no particular order.

From what I understand, Adam still owes north of $33,000 to previous customers and business partners. As I receive more information, I will update this figure.

Makes me sick to see some of his recommendations and connections on Linkedin. It certainly gives false credibility and belittles the connection.

Yeah I wish that all of the well-known domain personalities had come out against Dicker in a very public manner after this blew up.

I am not going to namescon until the Domain Industry cleans up there stage. I been in this industry since 1997, went to lot's of conferences, events over the years lot's of good people, but still lot's of scumbags speaking at these conferences. The last straw was when Adam Dicker won Developer of the Year! I warned many people about this scumbag when he worked at Godaddy years ago.

Yes, I also rang bells about the Godaddy/ Adam Dicker scandal. To my chagrin, the industry, including Ron Jackson, Rick Schwartz, and others had good things to say about him. He was included as guest speaker at conferences/conventions. Accolades were bestowed on him and his ass was kissed by industry self-proclaimed "experts," despite the existence of this history:

We were taken for suckers, viewed as rubes, looked at as threats to the status quo of idolization of those who were fortunate enough in the mid 1990's to recognize the importance of domain names. In fact those who looked down at us and pontificated to us are eerily silent now, not even extending the common decency of apologies, and this includes Eric Lyon. F--k 'em.

LinkedIn must remove his profile.

More troubling than the actual crime is the fact that so many high profile people were part of the cover up....They won't admit this though, they will call it a 'conspiracy theory' and such...They are only fooling themselves and a few newcomers.......The fingers of nefarious activity runs deep in this industry. They are everywhere, and that includes right here....This story is not the first or the last, unfortunately. It will take a long time to clean up this industry, unfortunately many good people will come and go as a result.

That's acceptable for a 10 years old making his first site from scratch. In 15 minutes. Using Notepad and Paint.

What are you talking about?!? Only someone who has won the award of "Developer of the Year" multiple times could have created such a masterpiece! :)

Mind boggling why Ron Jackson has left the Cover Story below Publish. Obviously has no Moral Compass knowing any Newbie could read that article and possibly end up in business with Adam. A total disgrace is this kind of behaviour and inaction that leaves a tarnished reputation on the industry. Avoid all the so called Gurus.

Now you're getting it! Now you know more about who to trust, and who not to trust. When players like Ron Jackson are shunned and are banned from pontificating at domainer conventions, then I'll feel more at ease doling out cash to attend. Until then, they all swim in the same cesspool. "The Domain Industry News Magazine" How insulting. How repulsive. Yet he's allowed to troll this forum to garner traffic from us. You're smart enough to make your own decisions. You don't need Bozo the clown feeding you hearsay on a weekly basis.

It would be possible to add warnings or links to stories that mention Dicker if they are not removed - on a blog you'd see list of related posts with eye-catching titles like

And I'm sure there's more.
