I´d be pleased if you would consider to add some more information on closed accounts.

There are many possibilities as to why a member´s account is closed and if the account may be opened up again in x days or not.

.
It would be really helpful to get a hint on the profile page about the "WHY".

"Account auto closed" -> due small wrongful act? Spam, offensive, Something heavy? -> closed permanently/till x days
"Account closed" -> reason: shill, not honoring agreements, etc, .. -> closed permanently/till x days

It´s tedious to research that member and maybe come up with some explanation for closing.

Real example:

Had a member which i conducted business a month ago.. everything went perfectly fine.
I expressed my interest in other/future offerings.
He then later contacted me with an offer.

Few days later i saw that message and wanted to step in.
Account closed.

After researching i found that reason.. where i now eventually will not do business with this member again.

It would be really helpful to have some kind of information on that profile page. Especially if that closing ban is removed at some point in the future.

If that member e.g. posted something for sale too often in chat, i could make an educated guess if this affects my business with him.

If that member was found guilty in shill bidding or something other fishy.. i could also make a better guess.

I think this little info would bring little bit more transparency into nP.

Guess it would be easy to implement as the rules for closing accounts must already exist in the background. Just bring a little excerpt into the profile page.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Might be tricky to implement, since XenForo doesn't support this out-of-the-box, but I think it's a good idea.

Thanks @Paul Buonopane!

Don´t really know the inner works of XenF .. just thought as the routine itself is already present in some form.. it might be a nice addition.

Maybe there is some easy way for implementation.

Privacy wont allow this, but thanks for the suggestion

Help me out @johname

You mean some privacy setting Xen has in background?

Or you mean privacy rights that member has?

I could also think about something like having
"account closed" or "account auto closed"

but modify that text snippet to

"account closed because xy"
