I subscribed for his newsletter and i just got this email

He asked the people what should be priority

I don't like all of these but to ask the people is smart - or not ❓

I think his privledged background has given him some business skills... obviously helps that his dad gave me a million dollar loan to get started off back in the days when he was a youngster....million dollars back that is probably like 10 million now... not a bad starting point for a youngster....but would he have made it big if his folks were not loaded? Who knows... easy for us to say no but we will never know for sure...

I don't think he is that intelligent at all...over confident yes, intelligent ...i don't think so. Intelligence has many facets...the inability to control what comes out of your mouth and not having any sense of empathy in my opinion is a sign of low intelligence...

You're asking people that hang out on a domain name flipping forum if a man that has become a multi-billionaire and president of the USA, among many, many other lesser-known accomplishments is smart or not? I'm eager to read the bios & CVs of the people that answer "no."

We have yet to see proof that he makes as much money as claimed.
From 1995-2005, a period when the Dow jones casino index shows a 160% gain, and companies like harrahs, argosy and Boyd gaming showed profits of 140-280% ( much higher for big players like Penn and MGM), trump hotels and casinos had an 89% loss.
Daddy gave him his start and bailed him out at least once. Numerous other failed business ventures (trump soho), a scam university, multiple bankruptcies... I don't call that a stellar business record.
He thinks he's smart, the sycophants tell him he's smart...I think the people playing him are very smart...

Six times out of 515 subsidaries in the Trump Organization.

Remind me again how many times you fell off your bike when you started learning? We all fail at some aspect in life. He's apparently learned from his mistakes, though.

When will the lefties stop crying about his "multiple" bankruptcies? I wish I had a 1% failure rate in everything I did in life as well.

I think he's smart. I also think he's a good BS talker. And probably a good negotiator.

But I still don't like him as president.

You elected him so you must like him and think he his the best man for the USA. He might, we'll see we can't know at this moment.

One thing is sure though, is that for us canadians, he his no good news at all.

He hates us, he already made a priority to break the free trade agreement between US and CAN. That will cost several thousands of jobs on our side and will probably push the country into a deep recession. It will obviously jeopardized the general peace between the two countries bringing a lot of tension among citizens.

We'll begin to see the country where we enjoyed going on vacation being the country were we are no longer welcome. Its sad.

But for you he could be good.

Clearly he is very smart at least when it comes to things like election strategy, winning the election in a landslide while losing the popular vote heavily is a obvious sign of that.

He's a clever marketer - I'll give him that. That survey is to solidify buy-in among his followers - it uses the principle of committment and consistency*. When you answer a question like that, you mentally commit and people generally feel compelled to be consistent to committments they make. Note that there is no option for "hell no." on any of those issues.

*See Dr. Robert Cialdini's work for more information on this and other principles of persuasion.

He is to smart for his own good. The only point that matters to me is how bad this will be for Canada

One week and the trumpets will be playing.

When you say 'smart' do you mean like:
* Calling ISIS a JV team
* Releasing billions of dollars to regimes that support terrorism
* Making it law that everyone gets health insurance, but can't use it because the deductibles are too high
* Opening the borders to drug cartels
* Making manufacturing too expensive in the U.S.

If you compare Trump to the outgoing President, you better believe he is smart.

look at most of the requests, i looks like he wants to isolate the country from the rest of the world. Works on a micro level - but in the end a country that wont trade internationally in this day and age can't survive.

If he's failed at a few business ventures, doesn't make him bad at business. Even best serial entrepreneurs fail. You can start 5 businesses, fail at 4 of them, and have 1 winner and still come out on top. It's those people who don't stop trying, who are the real winners in the long term.

Don't believe what you see on TV and what comes out of this mouth publically. I think it's all on act. He's a lot smarter than people give him credit for and he uses that to his advantage.

The second you start underestimating a guy like that, it's game over.
