I have had some domain names for many years but I am a newbie. Initially, I didn't set out to to make this a business. Just bought for projects -- or because I thought of a clever, novelty name - many of which I have let expire.

Just this past year and a half I've read up, tried a number of venues, compiled stats and bought with resale values in mind but don't have the time, funds, know-how nor the stomach (I admit it) to do market successfully.

Have some good and bad names - appraisals by estibot and domain index factor collective "values" over $40k but I realize this is meaningless.

I see bulk sales bringing in pennies. I know I'll have t take a bath but don't want to loose my shirt. :). Plus I have names I've held for 7 plus years Willing to pay over the going rate commission price if someone knows of a broker who thinks out of the box. Or a referral fee.
Advice? Thanks.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I have a newsletter I send out to a lot of end-users, feel free to PM me the names and I will take a look to see if there are any decent fits

It would help if you listed a few of what you consider to be your better names in the post.

Thanks! I'll send my list. I'm reorganizing it - it's in alphabetical order but I probably should list extensions other than..com somewhere else if they're specialty ones.

I was hesitant because I thought it may be solicitation and inappropriate for this thread.

I have a mediocre to bad one for sale on auction here that I thought was ok for experimenting - in the event that it sold for $1. Which so far is the case. It's injuried.com ($1100 on estibot) which I bought on auction.

But you asked for good ones. Some of what I think are good were appraised at zero like SUVexports.com (parallel auto export big to China - SUV's especially. But covert business so maybe not good?). Also have SUVexport.com.
Estibot reads them as SuVexPorts (!)
I'll think and list some tomorrow. Thanks!

If you could put together a list and include ther name, reg date, expiry date, and registrar it would be helpful. Add traffic stats if you have any.

Yes I have that but no traffic stats just google hits on key words. Any developed sites I use for projects. Thanks. May I send it?

Sorry I took so long -- uh- seems I'm having a hard time figuring out how to PM

Ok ... so I think based on feedback so far (thanks) - including disclaimers of quantifiable tools and going on experience (which I don't have) and gut (ditto, enough of) AND ignoring registration time (some from 2001) and Estibot be damned here are my picks:

Ok ... so I think based on feedback so far (thanks) here are my picks which I think would range from as little as under $500 to under $3K so I'm not thinking these are big buck flippers. Is that realistic? If I don't want to pay for an auction, where can I go?

Also, last call for INJURIED.com here on auction for $1 and BIN $15. Why isn't that selling for under $15? OK I keep trying to format this and I'm getting timed out. Grrrr.

before you sell these names you should park them or use a tool that shows you insights like traffic to the name and backlinks. some of these names could be bringing in alot of traffic and ad revenue. do you have traffic numbers for each name?

Good idea. No. They're parked at Uniregistry. A couple at Sedo. Two have sample sites at GoDaddy. No traffic- haven't done any SEO except for developed sites. I was looking into Efty but it was too complicated and their retrieval of information was minimal and inaccurate. Any suggestions? Thanks
