Hey guys,

Which domain extension do you think is better between the 2, for a domains name in general? Since they are both kind of similar.

Thank you!

Both are good, but these are new gtlds so investing in them at this time is still risky.

Best advice for an newbie is to stick to dot coms.

Shop
1) Shop - 4L | Store - 5L
2) Shop is most used every country than Store
3) Because of fusion words Shop is easy to catch than Store.

It depends on the country, the languge, and the product. I'd avoid both.

.Shop is better.

.Shop is also both a 1. noun, a 2. verb, as well as 3. a call to action for the same thing - a "triple threat."

.store is still good though.

There are many reasons why I stick with .shop:-

-Very short and brandable name.
-Globally recognized name even in non-English speaking countries. Travel anywhere in the world and everyone knows the meaning of "shop"
-Both noun and verb-lends itself to lots of creative uses
-Lower renewal fees compared to .store.
-Solid registry operator behind .shop which could bode well for future success
-Sounds nice especially on smaller ecommerce stores. Even larger ecommerce stores such as Victoria's Secrets has registered numerous .shop domains to market its merchandise.

Shop is certainly catchier, but a solid keyword in .store is also good

i would choose .shop over .store as it is firstly most used and also shop is short and concise and also can be used in general for any website. .store on the other hand sounds generally for stores.
