This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Efforts of team Reappoint.com have started fructifying with positive results. Here is a first domain name sale of the year 2017.

TorontoPropertyManager.com sells for $695 with some back & forth. #PolitelyAccepted

Nice. CHIPs past 4L don't usually sell unless they have some kind of pattern. I think you lucked out.

Good day today, for me.

Fedgy/com $199

Sold BIN on Go Daddy Premium
It had a 12/28/16 exp date, so it was technically expired already. I had marked it down about 3 weeks ago when I decided not to renew.
It was rejected by Brand Bucket previously.

Also have a a mid $xxxx in final stages of escrow. I will post when final.

I agree only good patterns have potential. I actually took a little loss on a few of my 5L but it's nice to get back something than nothing.

Bought VyDy.com for $1500 a couple of months ago, sold for $7200 yesterday.
Now listed on Brandbucket just shy of $9K. Are you still the registrant, or is this new owner selling at a lose after commission?

Outbound
Sale: low $xxx

Handregged 3 months ago with $1 promo. End user dug their heels in repeatedly offering $xx, insisting it was all it was worth to them, it's worth more based on the targeted traffic.

After some back and forth I just said look, come up to $xxx and I'll send you the auth code. Feels like I got beat up pretty bad but I have to consider these facts.

It was previously owned by a domain seller and listed for sale for 8 years before being dropped, they're the only obvious end user right now. I paid $1 and the deal was wrapped over a few emails. I think it was a smart choice to take the money and move on even if I did leave a little on the table. I also covered my reg fee with PPC rev.

VR+Keyword

$xxx outbound

Gambling niche can't disclose name, in bound via whois.

High $xxxx

Hopefully have another high $xxxx sale to report soon in the ecig niche. Strong start to 2017 after 2016 ended with a slump in sales.
