What things are you tired of doing over and over again in domaining?

There are things we do over and over again in domaining, and wish we could maybe outsource/automate/do more efficiently. What are those things for you?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I'm tired of re-registering domains I have dropped, when they drop. If I could find a way to automate that. It would be a big help. What I saw in the name, I still see in the name, but just forgot why I dropped it. Or that I had dropped it. It must be senility settling in ;)

Explaining to noobs that the latest domain extensions aren't going to become mainstream.

.cc, .tv, .biz, .info, .co, .mobi, .pro, IDNs, yada yada yada. 20 years of failed new extensions! The new gTLDs will fail to gain traction just like every other new extension has failed to gain traction. There's nothing wrong with .net or .info or .biz as functional, meaningful extensions, but they failed. Now we have 1300 new ones. Seriously, what do people think is going to happen?!

Watching people continue to argue about nGTLD's.

Enough already, some like them and some don't like them. It is what it is...

Build a bridge and get over it...

Why do you think that .net failed? I understand about these new extensions like .house, but .net has been there for ages.

Do nothing, waiting for buyers to come to me. Somehow it worked this years, Almost $80,000 in sales of doing nothing, except of parking them. But I really need to start doing something about my domains. Basically I just renew them whenever I got email to do so every year (all the crap) and the rest renew itself.

Few pet peeves:

tired of seeing posts in the names wanted section with a huge list of very specific requirements and a budget of only $10-$20 - hell, if your to lazy to find and reg your own names get out of the business.

or

When people post "premium names" to only find they were all registered a few days ago and are all crap

or

When people use the term 'BB, BR etc. listed/accepted names' to give them value when trying to sell them...
