I got a random email (in Chinese) inquiring about one of my domains. I only speak english and past emails that I have recevied in Chinese have been spammy.

I answered this one, only saying, Yes, its for sale. You can deposit to my paypal and give me your account info for push. A few days later I get another email. This time from 4.cn saying a buyer is interested in my domain.

I opened an account at 4.cn and they started the transaction immediately. Now just waiting for the buyer to deposit the funds.

Really weird, but it looks like it will complete. I had never used 4.cn before and surprisingly, the domain is a short LNNN.com (with a 4). So it should be a good deal for me as the price is somewhat retail.

Just thought I would share.

Congrats! $xxxx ?
close. and by the way, it's an LNNN.com that I picked up here on NP. I have seached and searched, and the domain does not seem to have any significance.

Hi

Yes

Fiirst : 4.cn was sold to eName
Second they have a good support ( sometimes this needs a little time )
Third : when you create an account you can top up your account with money
Fourth : if you want book a showcase you need to top up before

From my expirience :
When you list your domains there you have more chances to sell
If you get offer you can convert to auction ( like sedo )
If you book a showcase ( cost some money ) your domain will be listed on the frontpage
If you set up bin you get the most traffic ( views )
They have also a good app
The website 4.cn doesnt work in Thailand only if you google 4.cn you can open it
The payment from 4.cn comes relative fast
Even when you top up your account ( you need 400rmb ) to book a showcase
The fee is relative low when you sale a domain
More infos will follow when i am on my mac
Now i am in fitness on my ipad

I had never used the account i had on 4.cn. Since this experience has happened, i recovered my password :), and now i see the english version is very good. I now feel i can sell successfully there. Its like a bonus on the lucky sale i just had there.

The woman Cathy, at least i think its a woman, walked me through the whole transaction.

So far, very good service. I actually have many domains that might be a good fit there.

4.cn is great. Other than West.xyz it is the only Chinese sales platform that non-Chinese can list on (without a fraudulent or surrogate account). The English interface makes it very easy to use and the brokers there are both fluent in English (more or less) and eager to help.

In addition to Mike's comments above on BIN sales, I have done well with bulk sales for low-value names. I sold a couple hundred 4L.nets (non-chips) there with bulk sales.

can you say more what you mean by bulk sales? I have ~100 4l.net non chips also that I'd love to sell.. what price bin ranges did you set? I am not sure I saw any bulk selling options there, and yet here you are saying bulk sales. thanks a lot.

Once you have the domains added to your account, go to "My Domains" and add them again in the search box. Select all of them and go to the bottom. You should see a button for bulk sales. Hit that and it should take you to a page where you can set the price and add a description. You will need to have 400 cny in your account to fund the sale.

I sold mine in batches of 100 right before they expired. But if I only had 100 to sell, and I wasn't in a hurry, I'd probably list them in batches of 10.
