Just looking at what extensions seems to be popular, and I decided to do more research on .BZ because it's similar to .BIZ. We all know that .BIZ is very valuable now in the Number and short Letter categories, and perhaps .BZ will follow.

Just looking at the 3N.BZ's, there are less than half left(see attached file).

Again this is speculation, but when half of a range gone, things could go either way. Price isn't cheap, but it's not expensive like .IO.

Nope, CHIPS were gone a long time ago on NNN.BZ, but there are still half a dozen with 0 and no 4, not starting with 0.

357 is available but can't be bought through GoDaddy for some reason. Costs $20 at NameCheap, good luck!

Anyone had any success selling Chinese NNN.bz? I got a bunch, trying to decide what to do with them.

I like .BZ ccTLD for its resemblance to .BIZ
But no public sales this year.
Has anyone come across any .BZ sales this year?

@DNScholar - I have been pondering if people will confuse bz and biz, I like shorter the better so I have a handful of bz (and maybe 2-3 biz)

My favorite is dam/bz so I can make an email NoneOfYour@dam/bz : grin : It was too funny not to hand reg for $14

@Nat Hunt - I think because of the generic-ness of bz to be interpreted like biz the numerics will sell irrespective of chips, so look for area codes etc

Where do you have yours? If at GoDaddy do bz show up in their whois inquiry tracking? I have one at irist, I'll see if that applies & report back

In my view to avoid if any confusion better if available and if can than to own both .BZ and .BIZ

@usernamex Just checked - no whois checks are going on on my Chinese NNN.bz -- I think it's an unknown extension, no interest/money from Belize, China, or anywhere else.

I will probably list them all through Afternic for $595 each or something and prob let them expire when the time comes unless some miracle of Chinese re-emergence occurs.

* BUMP *

OK so how about those renewals everyone : grin : I am glad I have only a handful. I am a few months away, I like to be prepared on ccTLDs and in case there's a promo I can nab.

Anyone know of a transfer deal that is better than $17?

Not really. Where did you find transfer with $17?

@UXela - $16.95 NetFirms, I tried current 20% coupon - no go (and all other non-timed coupons I could think of). Hopefully they don't change the price and a better coupon will work soon. MyDomain/Dotster price is $50, I didn't check Domain, the only one I don't have an account at

Also BigRock.IN (not BigRock.com) cost is 1269 Indian Rupee equals 18.79 US Dollar and sometimes they have transfer deals like 10-15%, or a one time one domain use 25%

My backup if any that changes before my Feb renewals is NetIM ~$19 but I have pre-funded wholesale account, IDK what retail is

I don't see 1 reported numeric .bz sale. You guys are hyping each other up into losing money with these buyout threads. Pick some random extension, put it with the word buy out, bought up**. Calling them CHIPS but where are the Chinese with these? But good luck nonetheless.

**hah, just noticed the other thread, you did it with .cz as well. Why not all of them, we have hundreds of new gtlds, we should have numeric buy out threads for each one.

Pumped and vanished. Almost a year later, still don't see any reported numeric .bz sales.

I'm having trouble understanding the appeal of .bz names. I checked a few that were registered, but none of them has an active site. They are either parked, not hosted, or under development. Is anyone actually using .bz names for productive sites?

@usernamex I had $630 worth of NNN.bz come up for renewal a week ago, but I am just going to let them drop. I don't see any value there at all.
