no but its worth 10k for its SEO as Google search engine reads that domain s travel agency without the . if travel agency is typed in to Google but it also appears in travel category in Google

I remember reading something that Google does not do THIS anyone as you've said. or am I misinformed?

Got a ngtld accepted at no reserve, Rapid.Repair. I have zero expectations, I just want the exposure. Even if it doesn't sell it feels good to see that someone thinks its good :).

having tested a new gtld in Google search engine myself for SEO purposes i know this works -
irrespective of what Google says -
my gtld was a keyword.keyword and when i typed keyword keyword eg the new gtld without the . in the middle the two words appeared on the first half of first page of Google

so using the travel agency gtld as an example - if it was made a website etc within 6 months (to allowfor organic SEO to be recognised in Google etc) even though the . in travel.agency separates two keywords if it was made a website etc quite quickly if a person typed in travel agency in to Google travel.agency would appear on page one of Google in travel agency category - try it - it works

So these would work then?

LINE.BET
WASH.PET
CURE.PET
GRUB.PET

LINE.BET
WASH.PET
CURE.PET
GRUB.PET

they all work eg the wash.pet one should also appear in pet wash Google search results

a search engine is a machine it doesn't care which order the words are written it just lists all the results from the words and or characters typed in to it - which is why the keywords a person wants their website to rank for have to be on page and in tags etc because if they are not there Google search can't display them etc

does anyone know or have submitted IDN.com's? or IDN.IDN domains to Namescon? I could ask them but I figured it's easier and fast to ask here.

Their list of accepted domains is very random. Some very good domains are listed, some very average domains as well. I wonder if their acceptance of domains has anything to do with a prequalified list of potential buyers who have expressed interest in specific domains, and they've in turn reached out for the owners to sell (sort of like Sedo allowing you to accept an offer while turning it into an auction listing). All the meanwhile they're accepting a few random domains from outside submissions to pad the quantity.

They have a lot of domain names listed which wouldn't qualify as "super" premium, let alone premium domains to most marketplaces. It's kind of comical.

What stumps me is looking at their list of 2016 sales. Top of the list is Lawn.com That is an amazing domain name and something that could be considered a "super" premium domain name.

Right off the top I'm thinking one of the many major companies that manufacture lawn care products: nourishments, mowers etc.., would be prime candidates, I mean it's a domain worthy of national exposure. That thought would appear to be accurate with a closing sale price of $240,000 yet when you go to that website it's a regional lawn mowing service. Am I missing something? You'd have to mow a shitload of lawns in your local city to afford a domain name for $240k. It doesn't make sense and makes me wonder if that sale did in fact actually materialize.

Has anyone had luck selling a domain name thru this channel? If so, what domain name and if we might know, at what closing price?

^Maybe Forrest Gump bought it.

My guess... a domainer bought lawn.com and has it leased to the current "occupant"...only a guess, though.

I want to submit my super generics like

CoinOnlineCasino.com
CoinOnlineCasinos.com
BitOnlineCasino.com
BitOnlineCasinos.com
OnlineCasinoBit.com
360OnlineCasino.com
360OnlineCasinos.com
360CasinoOnline.com

but will these get accepted and is it a "good idea"? I feel submitting such similar domains might "dilute" potential sales since I'd be giving the potential buyer too many choices and I'd be competiting with myself.

I think they just hype up the auction process so they can offload their own domains as the few they make look as if they were chosen from millions of admissions. Just my thought

As I have said before sent off three with reserve, rejected but that's fine I'm not selling them without a reserve. Sent off five good g's, they should have a reserve but didn't hear a word back with no reserve.

I waited quite some time and wondered did they even receive them as ya never know therefore sent them again. For the record no reply to date.

There's some OK new g's within the auction but I'm sure better ones have been turned away and there's also some junk IMO.. The selection is not helping the best that's available with new g's, again JMO...

As for travel.agency that was a pumped thread here at NP for a month or longer and ended at almost 10K on Flippa. That thing will need to sell for at least 12,500 to break even with their commission. If I recall it has what a $400 plus renewal too?

Regardless of the above it would be fun to get one in but I'm not impressed with the system, or selection process. And I feel everyone should deserve at least a denial email so you can move on and try and make a sale after agreeing to their T&C's. :xf.wink:
