A suggestion why Pheenix is so slow to notify snapped domain names

Hi,
On the contrary to the other name catchers, Pheenix sends a notification of the snapped domain names hours after they've been regged. Especially for .org, whith which they have relatively good results.
My thought is that they do so, so they have time to analyze the quality of the snapped domains, when there is only one bidder. Then, they can retroactively invent a bidder (for example Kaiser, which is always with me), which obliges the original bidder to add 10 usd, and makes the auction open to anybody.
Of course, I'm not sure about that and I would be happy to hear your thoughts on that.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
There is so much lack of transparency, not only with Pheenix, but Dropcatch as well (and other dropcatchers too) that these thoughts are coming inevitably.

Another reason why they are so slow to notify their clients could be that some low-demand domains they are not actively chasing, but only trying to register hours after they have become available. You likely have heard people beating Pheenix with handregs ;)

I have been facing same situation. They just keep another bidder, though you are the only one backordered.

No Transparency.

I've also noticed that Namejet does not surface *some* domains which have only one bidder whereas it surfaces other domains that also have only one bidder. No idea what their criteria is, when listing domains in search results.

thank you
I've seen the other post, but in my case, the problem is with domains that I've also backordered with the other namecatchers.

that's confirmed, one week without Pheenix and I'm doing much better.
About 20 domains snapped with the other namecatchers and no disturbance from pheenix. The famous Kaiser, which always bids before me on Pheenix, has mysteriously stopped its activity on my domain names...
99 % sure it's a fake bidder that Pheenix uses so that I need to pay 10 usd more and make the auction visible

One month now, and the experience of quitting Pheenix is really a success.
I've lost about 6 or 7 domains to them these last 30 days, while the ratio was much higher when I was using their service. Very little doubt now that the other bidder (kaiser) was a fake.
I won't update this thread anymore, unless somebody else revives it

Another fact could be that pheenix put more power on domains if there are more than 1 backorder on it, so now as it's not, they dont catch the domain.
