VRLO.com has just been sold for $540 only on 24/11/2016 at 4.CN. This is very low to compare to other "VR" domain names whish was sold before. What is going on with this trending? It's so lucky that I have sold LQVR.com at $800 in July.
Thanks for your commnents. For me, I don't invest into "VR" letters, just one time as a try. This trending is very hot with Chinese buyers before but now it is slow and some buyers I know they don't buy names with this trending anymore.VRLO.com sold for a lower price then if it were being sold on a more international platform like Sedo and other auction houses, it would have been more. Some names slip through the cracks.I see VRLL LLVR and VRNN and NNVR domains raising in value tremendously but not overnight. Right now it's still very early and most sells are between domainers.
That said... expect the trend to continue upwards as the overall demand for VR moves in same direction.
I have a few in my portfolio but there are a few domainers with more then I who can probably provide better insights @TradeMeDomains.com @FX @gilescoley
I've bought a few VR 4Ls recently and I rarely see them selling for less than around $800-$1000 and the price seems to be rising.

Thank you for your advice. Actually there are a lot of Chinese buyers who is buying VRLL/LLVR/NNVR/VRNN.com, but now it is not hot like some months ago. I don't invest for VR domains, CHIPs domains because I don't have a good look on them.VR isn't another "Chinese" trend. VRLL has nothing to do with the whole CHIP market which I personally hate. I invested in VR because it's short, meaningful, and makes sense. There is an end user market for VRLL and VRNN domains meaning companies buy them for development unlike the horrible letter combinations now labled "chips". The CHIPs crash is imminent and a lot of people have and will lose money. I've been in this industry for 15 years and stayed clear of this whole chip endeavor. Invest in LLLL domains that have good letters, good vowel combinations. Buy names that can be made into acronyms, look good, or sound good not random letters like JQZK and calling it premium because the crowd is doing it. This is just my opinion of course. Do what is right for you and your bank account. I'm banking on VRNN and VRLL because they are actively sought after and used by end users for development and not held for back and forth transfer between domainers like CHIPs are.
Who will be the last guy holding the bag?

For CHIPs, limited market, only China using them, high risk.
For VR domains, many people talk about this trending but I don't see a good result from sales history.

Everytime I see a good VRxx for sale under $500 I buy it because I know I will be able to flip it immediately for a profit. The demand is very strong for 4L starting in VR.
just keep in mind that VR is mostly about future. not about past or history.
we are currently at 1% evolution and mainstream penetration of VR.
and already hundreds of VR sales, tons of VR websites around.. biggest companies investing and projecting many billion market and profits in years ahead.
the catch, of course, is that when that future occurs, like for all domaining in general, it'll be way too late for you or anyone to start investing in VR domains. it is in fact already almost too late.
my suggestion.. if your chinese friends wanna sell you their 4l.com VR domains for
$100-300.. don't think twice about it.
and if you do end up thinking twice about it, then redirect them to me.
