Yep... I have been called out here on Namepros. But someone was foolish enough to bet on Jose Aldo. The wager was a domain into my account. :-D:$:

They are now "domaincopS.net" and with Enom. I submitted an abuse complaint with Enom, again the domain name is 1day old and already spamming. They even have a page set up now.

Same story with a different domain of mine

Received: from mail.domaincops.net ([198.175.127.112]) by mx-ha.gmx.net (mxgmx012 [212.227.15.9]) with ESMTP (Nemesis) id 0MOkHW-1cIUDx3qQI-0063Kf for <****@gmx.net>; Thu, 01 Dec 2016 15:45:53 +0100

Seems they survive only hours or days per try - yet they still do it - so enough fools must be falling for it?

Why does nobody remove people like that from our society?
Just "reporting" abuse really is not enough for that kind of scum. No?

Update: Response of ENOM: (Tatyana Petrischeva <[email protected]> )

Hello,

Thank you for your email regarding the domain name domaincops.net. While the domain name does have Namecheap.com as the registrar, we cannot oversee the data being transmitted through its website. We do not own the domain name mentioned in your complaint, we are simply the company the domain name was purchased from.

However, as we can see the domain name is listed in both SpamHaus DBL and SURBL blacklists. Since we consider SpamHaus and SURBL to be trusted organizations, we opened a case regarding the domain name. Please allow about 48 hours for our further investigation.

Hello,

This is to inform you that domaincops .net domain has been suspended in our system.

Please let us know if we may be of any further assistance.

Oh? Really? THAT "quick"?

Sort of shows that it's not a top-priority for namecheap / enom to stop fraudsters.

I wonder, if anyone has been victimized between enom having been informed about the problem, and their reacting, they - imho - should take legal action against enom!
:)
