Just curious about two things:

1. Should the matching Twitter handle and Gmail be included with the sale of a domain..or separate?
2. Should I be looking at Twitter handle and Gmail availability?
3. Can these two things make a good domain more valuable?

1. should be included with the sale of a domain
2.yup its not bad to look for matching twitter handle and gmail specially if its your brand and you have long term plans with that website particularly twitter handle.
3. Yes but not necessarily.

Btw you can get any twitter handle if the account isnt much active and twitter handle name is similar to the domain you own.

That is valuable to know. How would one do that?

I wouldn't worry about Gmail as the buyer will probably use the domain.

I think twitter handles are a good idea for companies to use for marketing. It's just you're only given so many aliases for each mail account, and it's good to keep a record for sure.

I've sold a couple of names with Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts. Could have swayed the deal, can't be sure.

by selecting second option here, they will then ask you the complete evidence. that you actually own the domain.and in the end you will get the concerned username.

By the way...Last month I helped one of my partners sell his Twitter handle to a company for 15k. They already owned the .com domain.

He hardly used the handle so he had no attachment to it. He loved the 15k though.

It was an exact match for the company. They really, really wanted it.

Good sale but be careful as that is against twitter TOS.

Apparently 15k isn't out of the realm of reason.

Some guy has been trying to sell me a matching twitter to a domain I own for $800.I'll just pry it from them ;)
