I scanned all Chinse premium (without a,e,i,o,u,v and 0,4) LLNN and NNLL .com and all are gone. I registered last two CP NNLL.coms that were left!

What do you think is the future of this?

I turned down $2.5k on one of mine recently
I wont ask which name but you seem to think it was worth more, how much more may I ask

Fair enough, just wondered if cash flow played a part. Nice to have good domains, great to sell them too, cheers

What is everyone doing with their LLNN - dropping, selling, buying? I have many coming up for renewal and i'm unsure what to do with them.

BT88.com just went for $5k on Sedo
Doron-Thanks for the post-we happen to have GQ80.com and others. I think (not sure) this one is a "premium" so holding not sure about the others we have just yet.

Holding at the moment. I still have a few that I think could do well.

Ive been renewing mine. Most contain an 8 or a double letter or number though.

Do you think that bt88 was enduser? Seems like it
that domain has a make offer page.

Not sure but it won't harm listing it at as many marketplaces as possible.

why not sell on 4.cn?

also. anyone notice that pick any of your domains and if it ends in 88 keep adding more 8's to it at thee end. and I guarantee you it will be registered all the way down to the 4th to 5th number 8. and I bet you it's almost always Chinese who reg it.

why is this? speculators? people in the know? are they preparing for the next "Big thing"?

I have at least a couple hundred also. I'm letting some drop but am keeping most. Certainly keeping all the ones with double letters, double numbers, or that contain at least one 8. Also keeping the ones with the highest traffic and any that I have rec'd an inquiry on. Also the ones where the two letters are an abbreviation for a Chinese city/province or the two numbers mean something interesting in Chinese. So yeah, I guess I'm keeping most. :)

I have had a few inquiries but none that have led to a sale.

I'd wish I had focussed a bit more on quality over quantity - i'd rather had 20 or so double letters/numbers than the 200+ random LLNN chips I hold now. I'm likely to keep any with an 8 and drop the rest. Definitely will be losing some money on the LLNN adventure :)

I have plenty of random ones myself. Good luck to you on yours.

I've been dropping a lot, but holding onto all my doubles and some that seem more appealing like the ones with 8's. Another option is to transfer to Netfirms during these $1.99 sales (I think one is going on now). I've been too lazy to do that myself yet.

I reported a $1,595 sale on this thread a few months ago, but didn't give the actual domain. This video should tip you off to what the name was. Turns out buyer is a 140 year-old Swedish industrial company that does the equivalent of $11 billion USD in annual revenue.

Is this still on? Or over in a flash as is the recent trend?

I transferred nearly all of my NNLL / LLNN / NNNL / LNNN to NetFirms at $1.99 each (and less). I'll see where the market is in another year and hopefully sell a few to end users in that time.

Offtopic question but I gotta ask. I've never seen a transfer at the $1.99 price. Whenever I contact the chat, they always say that the promo price is only for registrations.

The question is ....do you guys get any interest on these names?
I even get a little interest on tv88.top and some other LL88.top names.

Haha, yep. I should really email the owner of dv82.com as the name is being offered for sale. It's been registered since 2007 already. I bought DV.biz a few months ago tho and been getting inquiries on it lately from Chinese despite the V.

I think buying up to $50 makes sense depending on the combo. I'm willing to pay up to $100 for the one with a double pair but I keep getting outbid.
from Kassey Lee,
Many investors seem to dislike domain names containing the letter V. However, if you look at recent domain sales in China, you'll see a different picture. Last year, VV.cn was sold for about $225k, where the two Vs may mean 微微 (tiny tiny). Early this year, VQ.cn was sold for about $45k, where VQ may mean 味千 (thousand tastes). Very recently, VS.com was launched as a consumer brand offering financial services. Here VS stands for 维胜 (Wei Sheng = maintain victory).

V also stands for Micro in China
