Picked this up and am curious on what people think this could go for on Flippa. Thanks!

I think it will not be doing good at Flippa..Flippa is great for .io and it is very trendy there, and people are betting in English keywords. But I noticed those which fecth good prices there has this in common : it should be tech oriented if possibel, and it must have some positive meaning, so one can imagine a startup which can build its business around the name. Now incorrect does not really have a positive meaning..or can you advise what kind of end user would utilize it?

Do you think teh domain has any value even outside of Flippa? I just liked the name, honestly. But if it's not worth holding on to, I'd appreciate it.

I also picked up Processed.io, Shown.io, Discussed.io, Performing.io, Participants.io, and Obtained.io and Dame.io
Those are probably better, would love your thoughts on those (not to jack my own thread)?

Well, it is hard to say whether incorrect.io has value, without proper google research. Maybe there is some company/companies who use this keyword..so have a look.

Processed.io, Shown.io, Discussed.io, Performing.io, Participants.io, and Obtained.io and Dame.io are all definitely better then incorrect.io!

Reason is that 1) they are all positive meaning 2) Most of them business/tech oriented.
So this lot is better. If I should pick, Dame.io is best of them, Participants.io is also nice (for startup who provide some schedules/calendars/synch solutions for example).

I am not sure about Processed.io, Shown.io, Discussed.io, Performing.io - I would say in .io, one should really pick single english keywords, if possible tech oriented and short. Here these words are variously conjugated, much better alternatives would be Performance.io, Show.io or Discussion.io.

For flippa, I would try with Dame.io :)

Thank you, sir. I will keep it in mind. I was thinking processed could be like a payment processing provider (similar to Authorize.net). I too like Participants.io, I was thinking something very similar! :)

Discussed.io I was thinking about something like a comments section provider you often see on blog sites. Like a third party tool, or even a web forum. Not sure about Shown.io, a friend I was talking to got inspired to make a game for it... so I may have an "at cost" end user, haha.

I think I'll try Participants and Dame on Flippa and see how they do. Thanks a million for your input!

I don't really see any value in this one. .IO does have a resale market, but really only for top tier tech related keywords or strong potential branding words.

Thanks Brad - would love your input on the others I listed as well, if you have time?

I am really interested in .io domains, and have participated in a few discussions about them here on Namespro (and also sold a few on Flippa).

@lolwarrior is correct in that tech-type domains generally sells better with io domains.

There is a trend that "most" io domains are NOT fetching the "higher" amounts I think they deserve...yet.

It depends on where you are planning to sell them. Sure, to an end user you might be able to sell it for $500. I mean this is domaining right, stranger things have happened, you can even sell it for MUCH more ...who knows and no one can really tell.

Based on Flippa sales, note the following for 3L io sales recently:

azn - $45
swi - $99
anl - $16
ani - $190
nzl/ffb - unsold
mmo - $36 (last time I checked)

As you can see, not a happy picture, but then there a single word domains...much better...

Playlist.io - $1000
traffic.io - $4000
sell.io - $5500

And also "weaker" one or two word domains...again...very sad

trainee.io - $60
zuma.io - $50
domainhosting.io - $100
wrapping.io - $30
webcrawl.io - $55
foundations.io - $35

To be honest, all the domains you acquired falls into the third category I listed. Or so it seems.

If it was me, I would list Processed.io on Flippa and see what happens! Why not.

Depending what you paid for Processed.io, I would list it with no reserve for 2 weeks and hope for the best. Just prepare that it might sell for $6 or it might go MUCH HIGHER. Let us know the link, I would like to follow the auction.

I hope it helps.

Thanks for the load of info, it helps a ton. Not sure if it helps you, but I sold Anxious.io on Flippa for $60.00 USD tonight. That's a name I wasn't exactly confident in selling, but it worked out.

As per my experience with Flippa, .io domain auction is a huge disappointment if it is not single word and not relevant to technology.

I would say incorrect.io is not particularly brandable so that limits prospects.

Following Dame.io...

Potentially negotiating on names, but they didn't meet reserve. Flippa is frustrating. Never had an auction finish beyond a bare minimum reserve (i'm not talking $1 here but I'm not talking 3 figures either). My sales have always been negotiated post-auction. About ready to give up on Flippa and IO. I know the names aren't solid gold, but they're worth the asking price at least. Maybe I'll just hold onto them.

I sold ani,io on Flippa for $190 few months ago,,,even I was surprised at the "high" price, then I also sold some for $6...

.io domain sales in Flippa is not guaranteed. I agree with other members as Incorrect.io is domain with negative term and may not be having potential buyers.

Besides, .io domains get values when combined with technology related term.

I have sold Sensational.io for $199 in Flippa and then listed Techniques.io with a hope to sell for the same or higher price, but it didn't get sale.

Good luck for your Sale!
