Anyone has any good or bad experiences with DN.biz newsletter?

I found it by accident yesterday. I'm a but put off by the claim of "millions of dollars of domains sold" and that they claim to get "thousands of domain submissions per day" on a newsletter I've never heard of after 18 years in the business.... not to mention I'm not crazy about anyone doing business with a ".biz" address.

Anyone familiar with them?

Nope, lets see what others say.

DN.BIZ has been around for years. I find it difficult to understand how you've missed them. Seeing as the are 4th in the Google Search for "Domain Broker". They are a genuine broker of domains. I wonder under which bushel you have been hiding? (which sounds more derogatory than intended).

So far nobody seems to have ever dealt with them. They are rather new, it looks like they started in 2007.

4th in Google search? Um NO, they're in the middle of page 5 on the term "Domain Broker". Not that this matters much, I don't do paid marketing or SEO either.

Starting in 2007 doesn't make them a new player. I don't use Domain Brokers, so I can't say how good they are. They are 4th in the search here in Philippines. I didn't appreciate there would be such a discrepancy. IMHO, DN.BIZ is a pretty good domain to work from. It's short and memorable.

It used to be DNCartoons.com, which was a fairly popular newsletter back in the day run by a really successful domain investor Eric Rice. If I recall they had a pretty big subscriber list with a lot of serious buyers.

I sold at least three LLL.com through them back in 2008, and they were bought at full ask usually within minutes of the newsletter going out. Can't speak to how they do lately, but looks like Eric is still involved so that would make me pretty confident.

I've never heard of them either lol. Head in the sand maybe.

Not sure if I should be embarrassed about this or they should be, but I've been domaining for quite some time as well and this is the first time I've ever heard of either DN.biz/DNCartoons.com or Eric Rice.

They have been around for a long time but it's true that lately we don't get to hear often from them. We are still in their mail list, but apparently they hardly send any more. I saw maybe one mail from them this year ?

You should maybe check your spam or ask them directly. I've been receiving emails from them continously at 2-5 day intervals.
