Constant barrage of emails from India

All these SEO pros from India are such a PITA!!! No honor, no respect, only crap and spam. They even flooded Freelancer with the same shit, sending bids without reading the requirements.

Last time when I raised this problem, a lot of members here were screaming that it's not true, and we should not touch the nationality of these spammers! Now what? Even more spam shit? Are you still trying to defend those indian spammers???

And to add some oil in the fire, even IT development companies reduce their collaboration with Indian developers due to low quality and crap work and moving to other regions...

Yep. Spamming aside, their sales pitch is unprofessional, to say the least. Saying they have 100, 250, 350 developers, but no signature, no company details, no website. Wouldn't touch any of them with a 10 ft pole!

You're lucky you're only getting emails. I stay in India. I am getting calls during work hours, texts. I have even received flash messages (it's like a pop up text message service that used to used few years back for grabbing attention)

Yeah, heard from friends in US they get phone calls, too.

And do you know what's their super SEO method??? You will never guess... SPAMMING!!! They are members of hundreds, thousands of FB groups and are spamming there too! That's their method, post a link in all those groups, flag your site/domain as a spamming source, and that's all... You're done!

I only get these emails and calls after a hand reg a new name but not when winning a name in an auction. They must only be checking for new registrations. Im guessing the only way around is donain privacy.

Everyday. From "Seo specialists" but also from "web developers" with every knowledges, from Java to PHP, Perl, Wordpress, Drupal and whatelse.

At least 3-4 per day. Same pattern, same words, only different names.

Definitely these emails and calls are mainly related to new hand regs. Every time they call it's for a name I had just bought or bought very recently.

I get about 10-15 SEO/Web design emails a day, but more annoying is the 4-8 calls a day for the same things from Indian companies regarding the recently registered names..

Until now I don't think there's a way to stop them as they keep changing their numbers / emails.

I get close to 10 emails a day, and before I changed my registered phone number, I would receive at least 2 calls a day.

Yesterday I had an indian spammer go as far as initiating an Escrow.com transaction to harvest my personal email. Looking for ways to ban every IP coming out of India until some standards are put in place, it's an absurd amount of time wasted.

I'm honestly concern about what this spam is doing to the reputation of domainers. There is a barrage of domain sale and design pitch emails and 99% I get is also from India.

I opened a thread about this not long ago but mostly citing the barrage of spam phone calls. The police recently shit down one hub in India that was used for the irs scam calls. It made the news.

I don't know what's going on?

And the Godaddy emails... Atleast some are using Godaddys name to appear official or connected to Godaddy.

As I said to begin, I can't imagine how these guys spam everyone else too. By the time you send a outbound sale email.. People will ignore it or spam you because these shady scammers are bombarding everyone's inbox.

Since I've been online and receiving marketing or sales calls, I've never seen it this bad.

there is a way round it lol and very easy to do

as they won't stop sending their spam etc their spam is useful for anyone wanting to get to the top of Google search results in SEO and website design because they won't provide website etc why use their content to gain Google ranking then see who whinges over copyright (bingo) lol

or create a website that simply shows their spam letters advising newbies not to respond letters like these etc

Unfortunately, it won't help. They are sending millions of emails, from thousands of emails. Plus to this, newbies are likely to respond first to them and later, after they get some bad results, come to google searching for answers.

It is so ironic that SEO 'experts' have to spam to find clients.

That's because old-style SEO is not working anymore. Google likes fresh and unique content, and that's the main factor in a site position. So, as those stupid "pros" are not able to create quality content, spamming is the only method to get some traffic LOL

its the eighth wonder of the world ss to why they still bother although email providers done dk enough to prevent it

India has a lot of workforce but the spammers gettin the name and REP down...

I have blocked the entire ip ranges from india for this.

The uk actually has people that can er design websites logos and provide er SEO lol you wouldn't have thought it tho by the billions of spam emails i have to delete each week from bods offering such unwanted services lol

I wouldn't be suprised if that massive internet attack was from the billions of spammers from that region bombarding client pc's with web design emails
