Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

by the way. could this whole "samsung" exploding phone fiasco be hindering the progression of VR? seening as how the Samsung platform is the other 50% of the mobile platform that was supposed to bring mobile VR to the masses?

thee other 50% is iOS.

Plus could the lawsuits stemming from the result of these exploding phones end up preventing the Samsung corporate from promoting or investing more money on VR dev?

at first you had two of the top mobile phones on the market putting out VR.

and now one of them is having probably lawsuit issues like Volkswagen right now.

all those people who got hurt with their exploding phones getting millions?

could this be causing a "slowdown" in VR progression?

Spatial .Audio

Importance of Spatial Audio In VR Content

Hearing is fundamental to our perception of the surrounding world.
Achieving this effect in virtual reality requires audio that sounds real and authentic. I
mplementing spatial audio to create full immersion in 360° video or interactive VR requires capturing audio or a physical acoustic modeling of the space where the scene takes place.
An appropriate soundscape can provide the quickest path to immersion for just about any VR experience, and even removing the visual element, still enables us to sufficiently perceive the surrounding world - giving us a sense of space, time, and presence.
In contrast, the silent experiences, or the ones with incongruent sound would break the sense of presence and immersion, thus immediately removing the suspension of disbelief, and as a result substantially degrading the overall experience.

Just saw this on dotweekly.com:

'Time Inc. has taken ownership of the domain name LifeVR.com. The domain has been in and out of whois privacy and dropped in 2013, but this appears to be a new purchase by Time recently.'

VRCountry.com new addition (to go with VRIsland and VRVillage)

VRBuddy.com new addition | I think names having to with friendship and relationships should do well and Buddy as a keyword seemed versatile enough for a number of industries.
