I read somewhere that as of august 2016, Google has lifted their restrictions of only allowing only 3 ads per page(image/text) and additionally link ads. Usually only premium users could get up to 6 ads per page.

Now it's unlimited as long as there is good content to back it up..

Can anyone confirm this?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

If you are talking about adsense, I have more than 3 ads per page for around 1 year ago and I dont think taht I'm a premium user. I have more than 3 ads even on my own brandable marketplace.

They removed the limits in August. However, watch out that you don't violate their ad placement policies.

More isn't always "better."

+1 as less ad space usually drives higher bids and higher CPC

Even if there's no limit anymore, don't expect they'll allow you to flood your website with 10 or more ads.
