Or Escrow ?
Paypal can be reversed and it's not recommended for big amounts with people you don't know/trust.

Thanks. The question is more about final payment method like escrow.com can pay through Bank Transfers right now, Sedo can pay through Paypal and I think bank too. I am trying to get assessment as to what is preferred way to have money in the pocket (Bank / Paypal / ?)

When I get paid on Escrow, I always go with check because there are no fees unlike a wire transfer.
That is the only payment platform I can decide. GoDaddy/PayPal is always bank transfer.

Escrow, then ACH if you have a US account.

I think most have Paypal, is there anyone who cannot accept money through Paypal?

If it's a big respected company like Sedo or Afternic, I prefer PayPal because they can be trusted and I can use the funds for renewals. I think they both pay by mass pay, ie without deducting PayPal fees. Which is also a bonus. Bank account is also fine but I usually get hit by some hefty wire charges, from Escrow.com. So on balance I prefer PayPal from a large company.

But I think the question is poorly constructed. Because I would never accept PayPal from a person I don't know..Then it would go thru Escrow.com. I never use direct bank payment for my sales. So my answer would be different depending on the payee. PayPal or Escrow would be preferred choices overall.

Hi Stu, I guess the question is, from an escrow company (not an individual), would you prefer to be paid by paypal or directly into bank account. I understand most can accept Paypal, but I am trying to find out are there are any domain sellers who cannot accept paypal.

Yes. Most domainers from PayPal restrict countries such as Iran. I'm not sure of who else is in that restricted list. India was also once a problem, IIRC.

I would prefer to be paid by PayPal from Escrow.com, but AFAIK, both buyer and seller need to be in US, and both using PayPal, for them to allow that. AFAICR.

In India, they cannot keep the money in Paypal, the money goes directly to bank account and vice versa.
I just cannot think of any country where people cannot use Paypal.

There are many countries which can't receive and/or withdraw PayPal...
Ukraine for example...

But even if PayPal will be available for me in full - I prefer Wire Transfers.
PayPal - just for parking earnings.

We are not allowed to receive payment via PayPal in Nigeria too. But is it possible to use payoneer's global payment (the bank account that comes with the card) to receive payment?

How about Payoneer?

Payoneer went down in the eyes of domainers when they started and then stopped their Escrow service. They could have been a real challenger to Escrow.com for domain sales, but sadly, it wasn't to be :(

I prefer direct transfer in my bank account. UPI payments is nice with no fees. I hate PayPal and it's policy. It also charges high amount of fees. But unfortunately there is no other option than that for international payments for small amounts. For big amounts we cannot trust paypal so Escrow is there. I do not know how well Payza works and how many people use it.
