I am looking for a hosting provider that support PHP 7 websites. I have few websites that are currently running on PHP 5.6. I have heard from many sources that PHP 7 is much faster than the previous version and it's an opportunity for me to improve the performance of my websites significantly. This is why I want to switch all my websites to PHP 7 and for that I need a hosting that is reliable and supports PHP 7.

Any recommendation would be quite helpful.

Did you check with your present hosting company to see if they have upgraded to php7?

I did talk to them. They don't have support for PHP 7. They are a small hosting provider so I guess it's not really surprising.

Thanks for the recommendation. Do these guys provide help in migrating a website?

You may choose Cloudways. Cloudways is providing php 7 hosting. you may check php7 benchmarks at aur blog at cloudways.com/blog/turbocharge-your-cloud-based-application-with-php-7/. If you are running older versions , you may upgrade too using Cloudways platform.

I moved to Namecheap recently - 50 domains plan, unlimited traffic for $30/year.
I noticed they have PHP7 in the settings but did not switch, so not sure how is it.

Certainly do.

They really are a great bunch of techies and have always been there to advise or assist me (I really am not affiliated, just a customer. I found them by chance a few years back and after 3 weeks of working with them and the systems they have I moved everything I have to them and have not used another hosting provider since)

Don't forget to use this for 10% off (I get a little and you get discount :) )

Might try BestHostFree.com. I'd recommend to move to their free hosting first and check if everything is running as per your expectation. If it does, go for semi-dedicated. Please note that, PHP 7 is not default choice there. You need to change it through a drop-down under PHP settings.

I think that is better to ask if the company (your current company ) can do that for you and move your account just to another server with that version support. I have had similar situation with hostwinds and I just said I needed php6 and they moved me accordingly.

If you're willing, you can sign up with Amazon's cloud service and get a year of hosting for free (requires a CC at signup). Or, for $5/month you can get a basic system (512mb, 1cpu) from digital ocean.

Either nginx or apache would be fine, just choose the one your most comfortable with. If you choose apache, just make sure you only load the modules you need to lower it's memory footprint. Also, depending on your experience, php-fpm can be a little tricky to configure with apache vs using mod_php.

The hosting services that i'm currently using support PHP 7. You may learn more about them on bgocloud.com/hosting/websites-cpanel
