The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Try selling them in an auction here on NP with $1 start. Don't spend money on those domains in an aftermarket venue.

Don't have a high expectation for what they bring. Use the experience to get a sale or two under your belt even if they only go for a dollar or two.

Don't register anymore domains until you have learned more about the current market, and domaining in general.

Good luck.

No intention to learn things. No intention to read as many posts as possible to learn basics. No intention to learn before buying domains.

Repeatedly same posts by new members.

It also seems you have no intention of offering any constructive advice.

Everyone has to start somewhere!
I am not sure how you came to such a conclusive opinion that this member has no intention of learning?
Based on the fact they joined the forum and asked for some advice?
I wont get into an argument over this. But if you do not have anything useful to say do not say anything!
Instead of spewing out some egotistical negative nonsense.

@Telemak I agree with @Cheaptrick here. I dont see any real value here. I am no expert. But I have had the experience of wasting money on not so great names. As many others do, particularly when first starting out.

If its just these 2 domains you have purchased, even if you sell them for $1 each you may look at it as a lesson learned in the buying/listing/selling process. Totally agree that you should consider doing some more research here on the forum or elsewhere to build up your knowledge.

Theres a lot to learn so take it slow and steady, step by step. Do not be discouraged by negative comments. If you do want to learn then this forum is a great place to start. I recommend trying to read back over the old posts as it seems to really bug some members when a new member asks a question that may have been already been answered elsewhere on the site.

Do not pretend like you want to sell them, try acting to sell.

very good reply. When someone posted that message...you should at least think that he might have come across several such posts in recent days.

I am not in a position to offer new advice (not that intelligent) - not already in the namepros.

No I totally get you have probably come across many similar posts, as we all have. I just dont see the need for the negativity, particularly against a new member who is just asking a question. As I said before if you do not have anything helpful to say, say nothing. No hard feelings. I do understand your frustrations but I don't think that warrants presumptive comments such as no intention of learning. Anyway, lets all move on now. All the best.

I have nothing against any member. I knew how much time and money was wasted in my initial days.

That sad feeling when another new member is repeating same.

Several threads - joined today, bought names - how to sell..most of these are their first posts.

List domains here at NamePros Auctions.

Thank you for constructive criticism here. I am definetely a total newbie in that sphere.
Though, I came up with those two domains based on key words and potential market.

reserve-now.com was similar to many other unavailable domains with a "book/reserve" pair. Some of them would redirect you to booking.com, which made me feel a little more confident.
Also reserve-now.com sounded to me like a potential or existing business in hospitality, service or even stocks.

I came up with bitcoinuse.com on both key words and sedo demand factors.
bitcoin trend is still there and keep on developing over the internet allowing users to buy and sell a range of goods and services nowadays. (im not even talking about bitcoin casinos). the pairs "use bitcoin/bitcoin use" is a frequent as current so potential google search results.

There is a way to sell a domain faster, create a tremendous hype about it. This can be done by professional marketers who will charge a fee for their service or wait for someone to create one.
Traditional methods like convincing girlfriend's father about the possibility of a million fold rise in domain prices after the next presidential election may also help in selling the domain to him.

There is no secret. Good names sell for themselves. The others are very hard to sell if nobody wants them.

My advice is not to spend any more money on featured listings etc. Again, exposure is useless for stuff nobody wants. I don't see a compelling reason why somebody would want to buy these from you, rather than just register some available domain. There are millions of domains on sale waiting for a buyer.

Put yourself in the shoes of an end user. Would you use these domains for a real life business ? Would you put them on your business cards ? Advertise them ? Would you buy them from somebody else ?
