Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

But when the money is apearing i know what to do to make it even better... Until that moment, i sit back and relax / enjoy the summer weather at the pool.

Haha, unfortunately SEO has to be done months beforehand, so if you want to be at the top of Google for the Playstation and then the holiday season, you're going to have to forsake the odd sunny summer day spent at the pool. Unless you're hoping for just type-in traffic for your site, which is unlikely.

I've got a few casino names, including OnlineGamblingVR.com. Haven't developed it yet. I agree it will be a massive industry though.

You also have to be sure to check what the local laws are regarding promoting gambling online, as they differ wildly even within Europe.

But i do rank for some keywords with Google:

#1 for vrcasinobonus and at position #2 for slotsmillionvr.

But it is still early and there is no real market yet for vrcasino. I am not laying all day at the pool but not taking to much work for the casino site. I am the last couple of months busy with my MR portfolio / domain registrations.

I did a search for vrcasinobonus and yes you are number one, however no one really types it in that way, vr casino bonus would more likely be the way. So I did a search again that way and for me you are on page 2 at the end which is still pretty good if you are not doing much with it, with some work you may get to the front page for the more general search.

With slotsmillionvr I could not see it in the first 6 pages, using the exact term without spaces, funny enough for the Namepros post where you mention the name comes up on second page

Slotsmillionvr with no spaces in between. Not only #2 but with pictures #1. But search rankings are different all across the world and google even has a personalised ranking system. But i did the search with the incognito / private page.

I use the website mainly as a advanced landing page for my gambling domains. But it would be nice to get some SE traffic in the future... But with 140+- gambling domains i would not have to rely on SE traffic wich can disappear overnight. And when the competition really starts off for vrcasino traffic it would be a fulltime job to stay on top. I am not looking for something like that. But i do like passive income...

Yes there is no doubt Google's "spyware advertising" affects the way we see search results, keep us updated on any success/offers in this category

want to know who truly has interesst in buying your vr domains when they go to your site from typein traffic? well.. parking crew now offers you "forsale banner clicks" stats.. and its the only company that has it..

and a freaking optional captcha too!!! cause forcing my potential clients and leads to play with verification images at bodis for 5 mins like they are 5 year old kids, just to send a contact form is what made me quit them!

hope to help fellow vr domainers.

my today stats (this is for forsale banner clicks only, without actually sending the form to you). parking crew has seperate section where it has all the actual completed and sent contact/offer forms.

Anyone gets more traffic to their .net's than .com's? I have no .com that got more than 20 visits in last 3 weeks, but I have about 20 .net's that got over 30 visits.

No noticeable sales, we'll probably see more sales in november and december.

I know it pretty much goes without saying... but looks like the biggest vr winners will be the ones with the most patience ;)

Well, those of us that have been through many tech waves know how long it takes.
But those sales number forecasts did not include software and that is where most of our domains will be headed towards. The bulk of the domain sales will be completed by the time someone tells you that
"VR is MAINSTREAM". But the price of the most premium generic names will be at the highest at that point as few options are to be found and demand is very strong with folks that have money to spend for any advantage.

I think you are just witnessing (what I call) a BOT that is a programmed look up to log the status of a segment of names for the very large traders, probably in China.

congrats.

what other info can you provide? sale platform.. domain age.. vr+kw? plural singular.. niche?
branadable?

those are fun facts everyone here is dying to know. do you really want to be responsible for the deaths of fellow vr domainers? I didn't think so.
