As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Congrats on sale but was sold very cheap imo
I do think it could have sold for more. I actually requested BB to start the 30-day removal period for this domain one week before it sold, as I felt the listing price was a bit too low, and I was planning to list it with a higher BIN price on Afternic instead. The BB sales price was the highest the system would allow (20% increase). Still very happy with getting a quick sale and a nice return, just a few months after acquiring the name cheaply.

I doubt it would have sold for anywhere near that price if you listed it elsewhere.

Wasn't going to quote this figure but I did an Internet search and found out that an online casino has the same name but in another extension plus the Geo location matches the buyers' info also. The buyer initiated Escrow immediately after I sent the quote! B-)

Domain: Hostel/Reykjavik/.com
Regged in june for $1.99 during Dotster sale
Sold for $190 through outbound
Was listed for $250 on afternic, did an outbound round after the 60 day lock was over. Told that I can sell for $190 outside afternic, with transfer fee it would come out at $200 for the buyer. Accepted and fairly quick process

Domains: Huizen/koop/.nl and Huizen/Huur/.nl (loosely translated Housebuy and houserent in Dutch)
Regged in June or july for € 5,- a piece
Sold at Catawiki auction for €270 as a bundle (Catawiki will take 15% off the sale price).
The domains have potential, but the order of the words is far from ideal. If the words were the other way around, these would have much more value. Therefore, I am happy with this price.

those were my 2nd and 3rd confirmed $xxx sale this month, best month for me yet. Sold for close to $1000 now this month. I did have an inbound inquiry where we agreed on a price of $750, but sadly that one fell through. Still a good month for me though.

Why do you doubt it? This domain can used for a wide range of financial services in the finance industry, and there are lots of existing companies calling themselves ‘Finance Team’, who would probably be interested in buying this domain name as an upgrade for their current domain name. It’s also an attractive name to end-users who might want to start using it as their new brand name. The buyer in this case is a company who has not previously branded themselves or their services around the Finance Team brand, so they are probably going to rebrand or start a new business with this domain. Lots of end-users out there for this name.

Also, after I had listed the domain with BB, I got a request from them to remove the former owner’s Sedo listing for this domain. It was a “make offer” listing, and the minimum offer accepted was $5000. He had gotten 7 offers for the name in the past. Again, this is a name with lots of interested end-users out there.

Keep studying about domain names, and try to stop always being so obsequious to BrandBucket, and later on you will be able to see that a name like this can very well sell for more than what it just did at BrandBucket. Good luck, and wish you'll have your first BrandBucket sale soon!

Like I said...if it wasn't for BB your domain would still be collecting dust on Sedo like it did in the past 14 years.

Congrats! Sold as auction or Buy Now?
I had it as an auction, I've been having better luck not putting a buy it now price for some odd reason. Although I will say, ebay is not the greatest platform for selling domains. I almost see it as a place to get rid of the ones you don't want and don't mind how much you get cause you were gonna drop it anyways.

Your first sale through them?
Yeah, first sale through them but first time using the service. They had already found a buyer within 24 hours of accepting my name which was pretty awesome. I think geo's are best to submit to them, ie- geo +(industry, trade, etc). Hand registered the name for about $9.

Did you negotiate for the domain or preselecting.com ?
I just gave them price of $400, which I thought would be attractive to buyers but they found the buyer for me within 24 hours of accepting the name. Definitely worth the $9 to use them if you have some marketable geo names.
