Anybody monetizing adult traffic?

In my experience, your domain name (ie. it's keyword quality) is the key to "hostedtube" revenue success. The better the domain name, the more traffic you'll receive (both in terms of organic and in-house). Add to that the completion of all the SEO options available in the "edit" sections, then link other sites to it by means of off-site SEO (eg. several cheap .XYZ hostedtube sites with links to your best hostedtube site) and you're set for success.

The question of "is hostedtube the best white-label for your premium adult domain name" then comes into play, but that's a separate topic. Bottom line is that hostedtube payouts are low for anything other than premium-subscription-sign-ups, and that simply boils down to a numbers-game (ie. the more traffic to your site = the more individual users there are = a better chance at the possibility of a user signing-up for premium membership).

The sponsors page allows you to add third-party sponsor-id's to your hostedtube account, so that your premium-subscription "rev-share" is higher. To do this, you {1) click on the "sponsors" tab in the hostedtube navigation, (2) visit and sign-up for an account with the "affiliate program" (if you don't already have one) listed on the left, then (3) add the sponsor-id provided by the "affiliate program" into the adjacent "blank-area" in your hostedtube "sponsor's" area. Needless to say, it has to be done one-by-one, and can prove to be quite tedious. I'll only recommend this for your premium domain names though.

Thank you for your answer. I think the chances to get a sign up under the affiliate link are close to 0 and I am still under 1000 uniques per day, but when it comes to at least 10.000 per day, I will take those few hours and made a few sign ups. Thanks again and have a nice weekend.

Yes sure. Yesterday it was already at 0.20 USD which is kind of double revenue compared to parking. Will update this thread in few weeks.

Thank you for posting this thread. Its my first time knowing about Hosted Tube. I will give a try to this website. May I know the uptime for the web page. Because most of these website often have server error and problems.

No idea, but my tube is online every time I check the NS... They are a reputable company, it seems as a good alternative for parking and you do not lose your backlinks so fast. Payout is by Check, or wire (expensive).

Strange, I get at least 0.05 USD per 200 video views. But anyway, we should wait some weeks first, that the tube gets indexed and we start to get at least some search traffic.

I had sent an email to one of the representatives of Hosted Tube. And they mentioned me that if you want to monetize in max then your visitors must engage by clicking ads. It doesn't matter if they view videos or not. And the revenue generated from one click will be divided 50/50 (50/50 revenue share).
About the sponsors, you will earn money only when someone purchase from one of your sponsors which you are affiliated with.

I have two adult domains that his might work with this?

x-videos.co.za (gets 1.2 million exact match searches per month in South Africa alone very low keyword competition)

and

Big-tits.co.za ( gets 18 000 exact match searches per month in South Africa alone and also low keyword competition)

yeah i have a few nice adult names like Pornivo.com & GirlsBooty.com was guna try them on this, but i have decided to sell them instead. so if anyone gets good results on hostedtube please let me know as i might give it ago with them instead of selling

Since they say they are the alternative to parking, the exact searches will unfortunately not bring you any traffic. I would put there only domains with some existing traffic. Otherwise you would have to invest tons of money in this competition, to rank for some keywords on Google. imo

Yeah dude...I'm in the exact same boat with the domains i mentioned above..not sure if I should sell or try this hostedtube thing....lol will see what happens

Yeah I was thinking about developing an automated adult tube site... that pulls content from xvideos and pornhub...

getting it ranked in South Africa wont be too difficult, I'm just not sure if I have the discipline to work in the adult niche..lol I would spend too much time doing "research" ...

If you think you can rank good in South Africa, I would go for it, you have your own tube in minutes, You can choose which videos are playing and how big is the master page. It looks very professional, so its not for parking only. If you are actually good at SEO and can get some search clicks, you could use it also for a tube without existing traffic.

Frank is not about the revenue in the first days, sure it could be lower than parking,but my prediction is that the backlinks will not be lost so fast and the traffic will grow by itself for those 10% of returning visitors. I know that the revenue is smaller than the one from parking, but I was getting max. 0.10 for 50 clicks for the traffic from India. So from my side is an experiment I would like to make, even when I miss 10 cents per day

Bodis seems to get me a good average across my adult portfolio some are still new but the portfolio is gaining. I ended up at 0.06 per click average across the portfolio but I know I add a lot of new stuff so we will see how September pans out. So far ifn i change nothing will doubl cost of the whole portfolio monthly.

Last year I've earned 3 dollars with Sex4Boys.com, parked with Voodoo so without any effort of developping etc. It seems not much but the last few weeks there were several days with a revenue of 25-40 cents a day. Type-in traffic is just 8-10 per month. The domain is for sale (see adult section).
