Hey all,

So I currently have most of my domains directing to Afternic landing pages with BIN prices. Now I'm wondering what tool(s) I can use to measure how much traffic my sites are getting?

Is it possible to measure traffic while the page is pointing to Afternic?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
If the parking company doesn't provide you the stats for your domain, the only way is to use some tracking script, like GA, Piwik etc. But in order to be able doing this, you need to have an access to the site code. Which is possible only if you host the domain in a place that gives you full control on it. Which means, the answer on your question: no.

Go to goo(.gl) and create a shortlink and use that as your re-direct link for your Afternic pages. You can track traffic stats this way but only if they click through your link..

Much appreciated, but don't these tools all monitor active websites? I just want to see how many people are visiting my domains without having to actively park them or create a site.

Hi

suppose you were getting tons of visitors, but they were looking for links to products or services, related to your domain names....rather than having an interest in purchasing that respective name?

since landing pages aren't monetized by the domain owner, then potentially you could be losing income by not parking or at least have landing pages or mini-sites with adsense on them, and you could the track visitors too.

don't just give your traffic away, as it can have and/or add value to your domain names.

imo...

If you really want to know the real stats then you need to host that domain on your own hosting. You can use google hosting which is free of cost. There you can see your traffic flowing :)

Forgot to mention about SimilarWeb, it's now one of a big plugin to estimate traffic on websites.
