Compared to 5 years ago..... my .COM's are generally

  • This poll is still running and the standings may change.
  • getting more offers than before (More activity now)

  • getting less offers than before (Less activity now)

  • fetching higher prices than before (Better prices now)

  • fetching lower prices than before (Lower prices now)

  • getting more offers AND higher prices (Let it ride, baby!)

  • getting less offers AND lower prices (Uh oh)

  • I haven't noticed much difference between now and then

  • I wasn't even domaining five years ago!

  • This poll is still running and the standings may change.

Regarding YOU and your .COM domains..... have offers & sales increased or decreased in the last 5 years?

This could be overall sales or offers on .COM domains you've held for a long time (I get so many more offers than I used to on my generic KeywordKeyword.com! or I get less offers than I used to for my generic KeywordKeyword.com!) or just a trend you've noticed over time (maybe your sales have exploded, or drastically declined over the years, despite no change in strategy).

Of course there are a lot of variables: new strategies, techniques, improvement in domain quality, etc.... so comments and discussion are certainly welcome. I thought this poll could give us an interesting picture on the current state of affairs!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I have seen more offers both in email and inquiry through parking services.

Domain investors constitute a large portion of domain purchases as most people only hold a few domains for a business or personal blog. Domain investors normally hold hundreds and sometimes thousands of domains.
