They will register your domain name eventually. It took them hours until i got notified that my domain name is active and new account created.

You should live chat to ask for help now.
But as I know, there're some areas HostPapa does not support to register.

I waited maybe 5 minutes before I received an email with my account details. I started live chat and was about to type in my question when the email came through.

I finally got the domain name, about 3 hours ago, wanna buy more, but not sure how reliable the company is, been checking out their reviews, so someone got his/her domain name successfully registered and received the confirmation email, and one day later, received another email from the company telling him/her that the domain name got cancelled because it was registered by someone else.

I just tried to purchase a domain name.. Waited about 10 minutes, then i contact support via chat. He said that order is in process, please wait patiently. After 5 minutes i received a message about full refund.. And then another message about some fraud they detected. lol. I have purchased domains from all major companies but none of them detected anything ever. :) Wasted my time. Will wait for netfirms/dotster coupons.

Here is my short review of HostPapa.

+ .com domains for $1.
+ Good and polite support (at least in my experience).

- They are all doing manually, from registration of accounts to registration of domains.
- After you purchase the domain, you have to wait up to 24 hours until they register it for you manually.
- Every domain has to managed individually, there is no bulk option for change of the DNS or anything else.
- The option for free push does not exists in control panel.

My personal opinion is that it is much better to pay a bit more for new .com domains than to register them with HostPapa, because at the end of the day, you might lose more money with registration of domains with HostPapa than if you would register them with Dotster or GoDaddy or NameSilo.
