I havent grabbed many thus far, but held onto Dogtreat.co

Renewal time is here - How many co domains is everyone keeping vs dropping?

I have a decent amount expiring today/in the next few days and I'll be renewing about a dozen, my wallet isnt too happy. Oh Well.

I dunno if its that .co works for one world and 3L(which i agree with you on) OR, eternityring.co is not such a nice name to pull end user interest yet?

most of the time I buy domain based on EMD, so I never consider about enduser like or not. maybe thats my mistakes! but if no sales, I think I will put some content in there, and blast them with some SEos tools! who knows maybe some jewelry company might be interested with Seo metrics

domaining has become very hard after flooding of new gtlds. this is the last time i am renewing my .CO names unless a sale happens this year.

many big people in the industry are selling their portfolios and settling with something else it seems.

Also high renewal rates. ruthless people.

Sorry man, but tbh you need either more patience or/and better .co domains.

lll.cos crashed recently and its a big surprise to me. They'll bounce back i think...but still..didnt expect a drop from $500-$700 to $100-$300. smh
I hope they do bounce back.

Yeah same here - only time will tell. Most have dried up from GD auctions, but only time will sell.

I wouldn't waste my money on Flippa - especially to sell a few days old reg fee names.

Anyway it's pretty quiet here lately - let's assume it's just a summertime slump and not because we have shitty names that no one wants :xf.eek: LOL

Thanks Bluebox, I've come to that conclusion as well. I only just learnt about getting expiring domains before they expire so you can keep the age haha so hopefully will have better luck in the near future :)

It's not about a creation date it's more about the quality - looking at reseller value "sexys" is not worth more than low $x IMHO.

Yeah I didn't think it had much value either. I only did it because someone had sexys.com ending so I wanted to see if could get some bidders from there, didnt work, oh well lol

Unfortunately even names that are premium are hard to sell - for example I have a name where .com sold for $50k but .co haven't received a single, even $10 offer... :guilty:

Because there is no guaranteed correlation! Lol. We domainers wanna always think "because the .com sold for xxxxxx so MY .tld equivalent must be blah blah blah" but theres no guaranteed complementary demand between the 2. sometimes there is,but its not guaranteed(especially when the names in question are not short, limited supply type of names). Good luck!
