I asked dotster or mydomain support for credits and they said they'll give me credits but then claimed that my bank is not allowing it so I should contact the bank.. they should allow us to add funds ourselves.

well can't blame them for refusing credits really.. what they do is already great.. far as discounts go.

who knows maybe they had a limited #credits to give and fill requests on too.. like there is limited promo reg numbers etc.. when they are all reached, the rest just shuts down and gets refused.

someone somewhere is definitely counting it all. it's not random and nothing lasts forever.

Do I have to use chat / support to add .coms to my cart? There is no add .com option for me...

Happening for all affiliate sites (MyDomain, Dotster, Domain, NetFirms)

I had .coms in my cart that I was able to purchase with credits (no checkout / promo option). What's the deal with credits? Sometimes I have credits, sometimes I don't. No idea how this whole thing works...

no idea maybe a bug.. or maybe when yuou go back in browser during checkout or something

if in the end your not overcharge and can use credit then I'm sure its all good

Netfirms is showing $1.99 .com price again. I have credits on my account but they would not let me buy anymore credits so I decided to open another account in my business name so I could save the credits in the other account for when i will need them in a few months. Their site is glitched and would not work for a transfer so I called them and the phone rep said it was glitched for him also but that he had a way around it and could open an account for me and transfer my .com domain. But he said they were having a transfer special for $8.29 and that the $1.99 was only for new regs. Can anyone confirm if you are able to process a .com transfer right now yourself at the $1.99 price if you don't already have credits in your account?

They changed both .COM and .NET price, still at $1.99 for a .COM domain name but .NET is reduced more, only $0.99.
Plus with the 20% off coupon - 20EASY, now we have $1.59 for a .COM and $0.79 for a .NET
Unlimited domains. Sale price is valid for the 1st year.
Btw, I checked for transferring but this time, it doesn't work for both .COM and .NET. Does Anyone have another result?

no u cannot do that.

1.99 is gone from MyDomain.com. New coupon code emailed to me (FRESH) - again without telling me discount. At checkout it only offered 20% off of 9.99 making it 7.99.

and that email you got is more of a reminader it ends today

You are right, it is reminder - I didn't remember it before so I figured it was new and they said the wrong thing. Waiting for the next real promo now.

I rarely catch the coupon on time when they give a flash sale
