Hi,
Just looking at buying a couple of domain hacks which I've recently been offered.

The big question is ..... How to value such names?

Welcome all opinions on the subject.

Have you attempted to find similar domains and past sales using DNJournal, NameBio or Brand Bucket?

Domain hacks are always been a big gamble. You should choose the best of it for a flip.

Agreed... some will fetch good amount and some wont even sell for 1$.. it also depends on the name and kind of market it can generate.

Interesting I have one I am thinking of approaching a company with as it would be the shortest possible name for their web address they own the com but it's forwarded to a .ca. IMO established sites that have traffic/income are the ones who want them. or would at least be interested if it did not cost them a fortune. but some are worth a lot depending on strength of the keyword, others are clever / novelty that you may sell quickly , however many of them are so novelty they may probably better to develop yourself.
