I already know thee answer of course but would like to see the replies.

I would like to know if Trump could easy do a urdp on such domains as I've seen a fair amount of trump domains registered and then having a $10,000. "Get rich quick scheme" I'm sure but it does make one curious. Who else?

Sorry I put "discuss" but I'm using mobile and np won't let me choose anything else but debate or discuss.

Try it. I'm sure nothing will happen. If you get a cease and desist letter then see if it stands on valid ground. If you make a blog or anything related to him and index it though Bing and Google you may get hits.

Make a Trump site and go to alibaba and order 10,000 ink pens with vote for Trump. Get a cool Worldpress theme with a cart function and sell them. That would be cool.

Hmmm I wondered about this. About other companies. If say I wanted a company or even a "Trump" to invest in me and I registered say TrumpStupid.com(not mine) if perhaps offering such domains to trump For free as a token.

Purpose? To what end? Get him to invest in my business. Having Trump invest in ones company or at least get your foot in the door with him to pitch him a business idea.

Would he appreciate it or any other business if you did this for them? Or would they feel it's some form of extortion?

I think it would be a unique use of domaining to get an advantage. What does NP think?

I actually think there are probably too many trump domains popping up for them to actually keep track off and would probably be too time consuming to take action against all of them...

I guess he must have realized being a colossal @sshole is going to attract a lot of haters and offensive domains names just comes with the territory. :)

Hmmm run this by everyone

1. Register Trump domain with Privacy
2. List on godaddy or sedo if they will allow it. ( Will they?))
3. Create fake email account or make anonymous call to Trump office give them a heads up about your Trump domains on godaddy or sedo.

You finish the rest. What do you think will happen next?

Urdp?
Sale?
no sale?
Godaddy or sedo removing your listing or even worse closing your account?
Or even worse GD and sedo snitching your info to Trump?

Bad idea.
1) In general - you're trying to "play" someone who has money, lawyers, vindictive streak and a temper. Why is anyone even thinking this is a good idea?
2) Godaddy has shown in the past they'll throw customers under the bus in a heartbeat if someone complains.
3) Registering the domains and offering them to him will not get you in the door to pitch anything. What noteworthy talent does that indicate? That you can complete and pay for a domain registration?
4) Profiting from the mark (i.e. selling pens) is use in bad faith.

No such thing as "too many to keep track of". Probably uses one of the domain monitoring services that alerts when something pops up in the zone files .

If you're lucky you'll be ignored. If not so lucky, squashed like a bug.

My idea of reg and offering it to him. I figured he's not your average guy. And since I'm not extorting money from him to get the domains
I can't get into any trouble. I think?

A big like his might appreciate it enough to listen to some of my business ideas.

Ehhhh nevermind too much work lol

What examples do you know of, where people made good money in the past on that kind of domains ?

Probably everybody would know, if there were money to be made with this approach.

I think I read somewhere that someone was offered $80,000 for Kanyeforpresident.com and caitlynjenner.com six figures. Six figures for PresidentTrump.com

If someone else can add here please feel free.

Of course all of these reported sales could all be just urban myths.

Want to be a famous domainer and get your name in all the newspapers? It's easy.

First, take your newly registered Donald Trump-related domain name and use it to host a website praising the man for his high moral standards and ethical campaigning.

Next, about a week later, and late at night, when nobody is watching you---"hack" the website! Yes, make it look like an elite hacker team has defaced your website and replaced precious images of your future President Trump with images of chimpanzees in business suits. (You own the website of course, so it's not technically hacking, but make it look like it.)

Finally, cue the press releases. TRUMP WEBSITE DEFACED BY LEFT-WING HACKERS. The media will eat it up when you tell them that you have "no idea who could have done it" and go on to explain how you "hate dirty politics." Bemoan the man hours it will take to "clean up this mess," while you're racking up the hits due to all the free publicity.

Good times.

BS. There are very few names that can command 6 figures, it's usually top generics. You can't do much with a name like caitlynjenner.com, businesswise.

thee other half of that quote was

"Of course all of these reported sales could all be just urban myths." which means I really don't put much faith in these supposedly "public disclosures.

Or you can build a real site and actually get it hacked.

Way too late in the campaign cycle to get a decent domain Plus odds of Trump wining makes Trump names have a tiny shelf life.

Plus you might find Bernie signs on your front yard.

Just move on to another idea.

I'm in wholehearted agreement with enlytend here,
Bad idea...

...If you're lucky you'll be ignored. If not so lucky, squashed like a bug.

In my eyes, "PresidentTrump" might be the only domain with any real potential for increased value depending on the elections in November. I believe the current owner is within their rights to have it. But that doesn't mean they might not have to fight for it should the T-man win.

I'd bet that Trump would love to have the domain right now but he is:
1) too cheap to buy it at this point since he hasn't won
2) doesn't want to create any additional negative legal issues while he's still running

Ps. I remember checking a couple of Trump domains in the not too distant past -- "TrumpIsAPatriot" and "TrumpIsARacist" -- and found they were both registered in 2015. ("TrumpIsABigot" was still available at the time.)

If Trump, god forbid, became president of the USA then any names that were considered to be of the national interest would be seized under some form of homeland security provisions. Just my opinion but highly likely.

Don't waste your money.

Registrants might already be on some DHS watchlist.
