What is Your Opinion about .ONLINE Domain for Business Website?

Hello All NP Members

Today we have option have many option for choosing domain extension for our business website. But in real .COM is king of all extensions.
I want expert suggestion about .ONLINE domain extensions.
There are some question in my mind

is .online domain best if .com is not available?
is .online domain extension are good for SEO?
is .online domain best for business website?

What is Your Opinion about .ONLINE Domain for Business Website?

I will just share my opinion on .online with business name. I think it also depends on a business name, lets say you specifically provide some services online, then it may suite. However it is a lengthy extension, and should be chosen carefully.

For example, My domain Standout.online can be good for online marketing business..but if its not online..better something else... .co is cool also I guess...

I do think if .COM is not available than you can consider going for .Online/.Website/.XYZ because I feel these extensions are generic.

A lot of quality .BIZ-domains are available on aftermarket from low $xxx...
So I don't understand why to buy such exotic and long variants...

I don't think .online should be the second best choice if .com is taken. More like the hundredth. You have plenty of alternatives in between. I am not familiar with any .online site, so I see no particular reason to buy one.

I am literally closing my old business because the .com isn't for sale and moving everything over to my other business because I own the exact match domain.

In my opinion, .online is one of your best options. Personally, I feel that .online is one of the best, if not the best, new gTLD for actual web development.

This is evidenced by the following:
Indexed pages using .club: 107 million
Indexed pages using .io: approximately 58 million
Indexed pages using .online: approximately 7.5 million
Indexed pages using .one: approximately 6.8 million
Indexed pages using .xyz: approximately 6.2 million
Indexed pages using .top: approximately 3.5 million
Indexed pages using.tech: approximately 2.7 million
Indexed pages using .cloud: approximately 361K

.co, .biz, and .net are much more established and have far more active sites.

Don't be afraid to use .online. It is a great option!

Yes i know .Online is not second best choice. But this is nice domain extension i think

.biz and all best domain are already register by brokers then these domain is best i think

My business named Digital Reach, so I registered Digitalreach.consulting at first thought , then I thought Digitalreach.xyz is cooler, sure .com is better, but .xyz looks cool for tech related companies I think... but I have not tested it yet, it is not active...

What would those 99 better extensions be? Say you've got an auto body shop called Jack's Car Repair (and you want your name/brand to remain intact in the domain, i.e. don't want to add filler words)...

jackscarrepair.com - perfect

jackcarrepair.ie - perfect provided that your shop is In Ireland

jackscarrepair.net - not bad

jackscar.repair - hell, why not, cute... (not possible with A LOT of keywords)

What after this?

.co - possible but not that great

.io - sucks for this purpose

.org - at least not ideal

.info - at least not ideal

.biz - why not...

.xyz - come again?

.club, .agency, .villas, .design, .management etc. = NOPE.

.ONLINE...

jackscarrepair.online - works IMO.

Personally I like .online quite much. Not saying it's a great extension to invest in but would have no problems using it in a project.

.online is quite good with 1 word eg Shop.Online , Buy.Online , Casino.Online etc....
