Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

Thanks for the feedback guys re: V+keyword+R.com domains.

I feel like a total fool having bought so many now realising they are useless domains. I should have asked for your opinions before buying but like a big eijet I thought I'd jump ahead of everyone buying left right and center!!

Would VRattention.com be worth $55 to anyone or is that a bad price? I just wish I bought more normal VR+keywords like you guys.
Don't take it hard. Most learn by paying for mistakes. You certainly remember them better.

But since you have them, why not make the best of them...
... If I were in your shoes, I would say that I am not the only person who thought this.
... it is a chance to flip them very cheap.
...Price them BIN @ something under $100ea... you may still be able to make money.

Playing into perceptions is what flipping is all about. No end user required.
Don't let greed stand in your way of making money ":D"
JMHO as I do not flip much.

I like this one, sounds like a fashion designer label too (a lot tend to be called Christian).

If there's an upcoming Italian fashion designer called Christian Vincent Rossi, your in business ;)
I was looking at it more from the religious standpoint, but I won't be picky about endusers...

came across four letters that were screaming at me. I remember someone talking about the German market for .de and german domains yadda yadda yadda. I never dabble into .de but since I did end up getting GMBHVR.com ("German" Corporate VR?) and these were taken.

GmBH360.com Taken
360GmBH.com Taken
VRGmbh.com Taken

Who's got these in here?

so I figured I'd better take these in .de because when you check Sedo most high sales are with the .de extension.

so got:

GmBH360.de
VRGmBH.de
GmBHVR.de

too.

Did I do good? I know I know. "slow down" but this was just "couldn't resist" plus the whole Keyword+VR or 360 trend really tempted me. sorry guys. but would like opinions.

GmBH= The German limited liability company (Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung, GmbH) is the most widely used legal form for corporations. It combines high flexibility with relatively few obligations.

GmBH = 110,000 monthly searches.

I'm a bit late to the the party, but congrats to @DareDevilDeals on a super sale!

On other matters, I've been thinking a bit about the emergence of the "virtual reality office" setting, so I grabbed up:

Receptionist VR

(I suspect "virtual receptionists" are going to be in demand in the business-verse...) ;)

I agree...I have VRReceptionist :)

Wise words, clean house, and invest in some better aftermarket names. There are lots of NPs moving VR names right now at fair prices. And yes, we've all been there. Good luck.

Doing a test and taking all my Virtual+Keyword and VirtualReality+Keyword off landers, and putting them on Above.com.

Sadly, the links generated are not relevant. This is what was listed for for a very wide-open concepts for VR site:

Archaeology
Drag & Street Racing
Laptops & Notebooks
Personals
Scanners
Southeast Asian Cuisine

GOOGLE VR AND THE QUEST FOR WIRELESS, AFFORDABLE VIRTUAL REALITY
A Q&A WITH GOOGLE'S HEAD OF VR, CLAY BAVOR
ByXavier Harding

Gogle Cardboard is the most affordable VR headset around. Made literally out of cardboard, simply insert a smartphone and Google will take you halfway around the world or to a museum. But the company is starting to get serious about virtual reality.
Cardboard is convenient from the perspective of cost and usability, but is lacking in processing power, a method of interacting within the virtual world (save for one button on the side) or even an option to strap the headset to your head like competing VR helmets. But that may soon change.

I gotta do something to get out of this funk I'm in. Anyone want 5 more Elegant Themes to dev some VR concept on their domains? I got to pay it forward I think, this lull is killing me.

Hand reg'd today to go with my Mobile portfolio:

VRMobile360.com
VRMobiles360.com

PM me and I will post when 5 are gone. Kudos to whoever started the idea upthread.

The Best VR Experience at Tribeca Film Festival Was All About Sound
Usually when we talk about virtual reality’s role as the evolution of film, it’s because of what the medium allows us to see, be it a far-away place we couldn’t travel to otherwise or a fantastical world our mind is fooled into thinking we’re a part of. So it’s rather ironic that the best VR experience I saw at the recent Tribeca Film Festival was a depiction of what it’s like to not be able to see anything at all.
The film, Notes on Blindness: Into Darkness, is a 14-minute, six-chapter story about what it’s like to go blind. It was written by writer and academic John Hull, who lost his sight at age 43 and documented the experience in an audio diary that narrates the piece.

Respect to
teevr.com 5,000 USD 2016-05-02 Sedo

Maybe Teevr Data INC, an Industrial IOT company
www.teevr.io/

teevr is a hindi word also

or golf related

in any case it is a sale rather than strengthens the VR acronym, keep your gems locked, in 2 or 3 years they will be sold like hotcakes.

Or it probably has something to do with shirts, I may be wrong. Idea is testing and fitting the t-shirt in virtual reality before you buy it. Same thought that I had when I registered TeesVR (king)

@DareDevilDeals Congrats!

How VR Will Revolutionize Big Data Visualizations
by Bernard Marr

I recently wrote about how Facebook and others could be about to take online socializing to the next level with virtual reality. But the implications of the growing presence VR is going to take in the tech industry in the next few years go far beyond a new breed of chatrooms. A lot of excited discussions have been taking place around how it will affect the way we visualize data in general – and obviously that includes Big Data.

I just want to highlight something from another niche that's relevant to VR.

I have two niche defining names listed on GD auctions, one with 8 bids/offers and the other with 5.

When I search on GD auctions I'm provided with all sorts of similar alternatives to these two names. Variations with i, x, 3 word and so forth. What's interesting is that none of the alternatives in related search results have a single bid placed on them and practically no views!

I honestly think people need to slow down on the mass hand regging. I wish everyone the best of luck with their names but at some point you have take a step back and ask yourself, does this hand reg really have a shot of a sale. We are still years away from the peak of VR, maybe a decade! If you're carrying a large portfolio of names with added things like 360 i, x, two, three word, the cost of renewals vs sales is going to be very difficult to balance imho.

I own a handful of these myself, i.e ibetvr, but if I'm honest I'm not overly confident of making a sale.
