I Love the Features and Interface ~

I Love the Features and Interface and wouldn't change anything in that area at all !
But Customer Service Lacks Overall .... Unless you know a Customer Representative ... Don't expect much out of the "Live" Chat.

Amazing control panel

They should just offer cheaper domains without always needing a code. Interface is the best I have ever seen, simple pushes, and the most payment options I have ever seen from any company online.

Best user interface in industry, Support fair.

Registerfly has the best user interface in the industry at this point. Occassional script errors and unhelpful first line support bring the overall rating down somewhat. For bulk sales the pricing is good and does include the credit card fees unline some others who deduct them from your payment. Also accepts paypal for payment and has quick checkout feature for quickly registering domains.

Edit May 2006:
Script errors, missing domains, whois data being changed to their name, and other major and frequent problems now cause me to rate customer sevice as low as you can go. Without reliability and service to fix the problems it causes, I have to recommend against using them at this time...regardless of a great interface (when it works) and pretty good pricing.

BTW, they are no long a reseller of enom on new registrations. They are now ICANN accredited.

Edit October 2006:
I can't change my review rating from way back, but absolutely recommend AGAINST using registerfly.com. I have moved all my business elsewhere!

Bad experience more than once. Only use Registration Services!

Never had any problem with just 'registration & maintence etc.' But Had to file complaint with BBB to get refund on a appraisel that they never did last fall (Had complete E-mail trail with their admission of fault etc.). They just never credited me the money back! Took BBB on their rear to get it. Webhosting through them was also a Mistake. All this took place during the winter so maybe they got their act together by now but...

And currently now going down the same road with 'Expirefish'. Confirmed transaction on a domain to GRAB..then I was never able to log into my account (just last month) still trying to to either log in or get a response/refund.
My suggestion is..if you use them just let them be your registor thats it!...

Easy to use, good 24/7 support

Pretty much the best domain management system in the business. Excellent for newbie and pro alike.

Great Company

Although the advertised price of Register Fly is $9.99, they always have a coupon for $7.99 registrations. Reg Fly has many features that come with a registration including web space. The interface is very easy to use and has features for the new members or more profesional members. Sometime the Paypal payments do not go into your account immedietly so you have to contact customer service, which has many friendly people. The price is high at $9.99 but with the coupon, $7.99 is one of the cheapest available.

A very feature-rich eNom reseller...

I personally love Registerfly because of their various funding options (Paypal, Moneybookers, Stormpay, etc.)

Registerfly's support is terrible. I've sent e-mails to them previously without even getting a response.

Also, be sure to the http://theflypaper.com to check for great deals.

Registerfly Sucks

Features are great if you aren't logged off all the time. I've been with Registerfly now for a long time. I've had them host my sites and I have to say that Registerfly is a number company... A company concerned with numbers and not their customers. Website hosting at Registerfly is almost as slow as their hosting, but the worst is their customer service. At time's they were helpful but that was only when it was publicly mentioned in a forum. Otherwise, I would recomend Fabulous or Godaddy and leave Registerfly in the dust. You'll have less problems that way, and it's too bad because they are feature rich and could be a nice site but the customer service is flat-out the worst available.

I would not recommend doing business with Registerfly at all. Just go to their live support button on their site. Live support means they can support you if they are taking money from you and answer questions for new customers. The problem is once you become a customer, that's it. They don't care on way or the other.

Registerfly is the worst I've encountered in this business ever. The company is growing too fast and forgetting what matters most and that's the customers. If your site goes down on hosting... there is no phone number, you have to send an email to [email protected] and you'll be lucky if they get back in 48 hours. Meanwhile your SOL.

I wish, now, that I would have never started with them and that someone could have told me about the real scoop when I was new in the industry. If you have a domain or two and are wowed with feature rich junk, then Registerfly is for you. If you plan to develop sites and take customer service, then I seriously recomend using the low standard services that Registerfly offers.

That's my Review.

I want to ad to this... When my websites were down, I called them and they said VPS support is not available by phone. I explained that this was urget (10 websites down) and she said they will respond by email. 4 days later they responed to my question without an answer and needed my VPS domain name as I only gave them my registerfly account name. Another day and they finally got back and restarted my vps server... but didn't answer the question I asked. I sent 2 more emails to them with no response. Meanwhile I found a much better host and today I emailed them to close my account. Of course I emailed [email protected] and their response was I needed to submit a support ticket. So I did.

I actually got the quickest response in history when asked to close my account. They closed my account within seconds after sending the email... Now that's service! Forget about keeping a customer and responding to thier questions... but close the account, absolutely, done in a jiffie.

Registerfly is a joke. Worst out there. That's an honest heads up for anyone wanting to do business with them. If you are going for names, use namecheap.com, godaddy.com or fabulous. Stay clear of Registerfly and you'll save youreself a lot of headaches.

Only have one domain there, and I've never had a problem with it.... Not my favorite registrar though. I'll give a eight from my experience.

Registerfly

Yes, I agree the interface is fantastic. However, everytime I turn around there are problems with them and all of their employees on every level have access to your username and password. They told me they screen their employees... as we all see in these threads, their customer service is the worst in the field.

Today I tried to register a domain name with them, a .us.com and it charged my credit card not once, not twice, but 4 times for one domain and then it kicked back,

Your most recent domain registration attempt has failed.

Failures are usually attributed to any of the following:

- Registry Connectivity -
- Incomplete Whois Information(common for .ca and co.uk) -
- Invalid Name servers -

So I called them. I actually got a nice lady to help and she tried to register the domain for me and it didn't work. After being on the phone for almost an hour with them, they told me that, that domain I was trying to register is reserved. ??? Now explain to me how a new subdomain with the extension .us.com can be reserved? It showed up in all my searches as available.

So what happened there? Interface is wonderful. What about the important things?... like security, trust, and peace of mind that mine and your domains are safe?

I'm interested to see how many more of you praise Registerfly for their lack of integrity in this industry. Again, I've been with them for two years and have had over 300 domains with them and I've had some experience. I've tried my best to look past the minor stuff but this is no longer minor and people need to take heed because Customer service is important, but more importantly, trust and peace of mind with the Registrar is equally important.

If your searching for price, there are better prices in the industry and there are some good interfaces available. None like Registerfly as the look and feel of their site is designed very well, but that's not important to me or other major domain holders. What's important is the issue of trust.

I've forwarded a copy of all my domains registered with Registerfly to Icann along with a complaint. Enough is enough. This company was granted Icann Accreditation recently and it's not deserved. For people who have a couple domains, maybe Registerfly is ok for you but from experience and a lengthy relationship with them, I beg to differ.

wonderful service

The best domain company I have used, prices are very good and support has always been wonderful. Flypaper promo is also useful.

It would be nice if my credit card worked all the time, outside of that A+

THe only that that I don't like about htem is that, they take a long time, when you change the nameservers of your domain..Except that its fine!!
