What I learned about domains in the last year and why I invest primarily in two word .COM Domains.

If you want to make serious money from domains, you must have a premium domains, something like LL.COM, LLL.COM or a dictionary word .COM, these domains sell for hundreds of dollars and even a single sale can make your life easier, but do not lose confidence, if you are now entering the world of domains or do not want to invest huge amount of money, there is still a way to start.

Currently we live in a time where technology is developing rapidly and new niches can be found every day, all this gives us a huge space for action, if you are wondering what I mean I’ll tell you, discover the world of two words .COM domains.

Why two word .COM domains
Most likely they will not be sold for millions, but can get you a decent income from several hundred to several thousand dollars.

Choose words that are relevant to the time in which we live. It would not be appropriate, for example, to select a word describing “service” or “subject” that are not in use in these days. It would be nice these words to create meaningful combination, they are easy to say, spell, and remember.

Here are some of the domains that I’ve bought over the last six months
  • AlarmTesting.com
  • CrispyMint.com
  • EyeMonitoring.com
  • GirlsProblems.com
  • GlobalWearable.com
  • HoverboardLessons.com
  • InsureVirtual.com
  • StreetBarista.com
  • TransferSquare.com
  • WisePlumber.com

Take a second opinion
This is all my opinion and currently is part of my strategy for investing in domain names, but to make things more clear, I recommend you read the following post (How To Pick Two Word Domains ) written by Ali Zandi in his blog.

Good luck and invest smart

Awesome post. I am a big believer in this and have found success by investing in 2 word .coms. These are domains you can get your hands on at descent prices and flip them for some great profits.

Me too.
The benefits of two-word domains is that they can be descriptive and brandable at the same time, and somewhat unique. The best of both worlds.

Since 2003 all I basically own is 2 word keyword .coms and a few 3 word keyword .coms, only sales I've done in 3 figure range since 2003 are some recent 4 letter .com sales that I picked up for $15-$20, but the 2-3 word .coms always in xxxx range so a big 2-3 word .com guy along with a handful of keyword brandable .coms

Direct emails to end users works for me for the moment

Excellent post mate, definitely a good observation there. I think many of us often need to be reminded that the basics still apply when it comes to .com's . Two word .com's have excellent brand value and often are great from a SEO point of view. Too many of us, myself included are too focused on trying to find the golden picks on some of the new TLD's and forget that there are still some gems in the .coms that have been overlooked...and i think most of these gems are in the two word variety.

Excellent post.

Every newbie should target two word .COMs, however those two words should make sense.

Happy Domaining!

Great post.

I got EvenSmile.com, for dental health and care, dentists, dental hygienists, and dental care products.

Hope it sells well.

Good post!! I also think it can be a liiiiiitle bit harder to sell two word .COMs unless its for end users. I guess you can really sell any domain if its super cheap, so I guess what I'm saying is you'll probably get more money with end users. But I totally agree with you.

Two words have all the power to communicate and evoke emotion and brand values. The advantage they have over made up brandables is that we know what the words mean.

With made up words the tones of the phonemes can mean different things and evoke different thoughts in different people.

Nice post @bonin, I am also a very staunch believer in two word dot coms. The two word dot coms that make sense is the strategy I used to follow & I like it.
