There was Chatter about this in another thread here on NP so I figured instead of going off topic there that I should start a new topic for discussion here to continue the off topic discussion.

So who has Lifi Domains? If you mentioned it in thee other post please mention them here thanks.

I was careful to mention in my post in the other thread that I didn't know where in the development process LiFi was. It sounds like interesting technology though so I will follow it here.

I find it interesting that one of its problems, It won't go through walls, is one of its benefits in some settings.

I did notice amazon doesn't seem to have any lifi products yet; only books.

if the tech you're researching does have ads when searching then you're late into the game imo

Here's an Amazon patent for a lamp using Lifi:

One thing to consider. TESS shows light-related trademarks for the keyword of "Li-Fi", but not for "LiFi". WIPO shows no infringement cases for "Li-Fi" or "LiFi". UDRPsearch has one "LiFi" infringement for 'lifiextension.com' at http://www.udrpsearch.com/naf/1337664. And the European IP Office has several "LiFi" + keyword trademarks.

FYI: I am not a lawyer and the above information is not legal advice.

Lifiextension is of course for LifeExtension.com well someone should have register LiFi by itself instead of Lifi + Keywords. if someone registered LiFi by itself I'd be worried.

I mean heck the main company pushing for LiFi and has a patent for LiFi is PureLifi.com

If they have that domain? I'm not worried.

I was considering starting a thread like this; but I did a quick scan on LiFi domains and it looks like they are all pretty well registered as of a few years ago.

One thing to keep in mind that this is a LED technology, so buying some nice LED domains with respect to LiFi technologies would be a smart buy.

see I would sacrifice limited connection areas so long as thee area that I can connect is super high blazing speed. There are solutions for this problem.

Hard line splits to wifi (all over the please) and lifi lines ( where you really need SUPER speed like your bedroom or office or kitchen or living room?

lifi would be great too to set up in starbucks although the light would go thru the glass windows.
