I was listening to ESPN radio and heard a new advertisement for a loan company called Lending Club. It was a live ad read, so the host said "visit lendingclubloans.com today." I checked them out on Google to see that they also own LendingClub.com, but they do not own Lending.Club.
I went to see if anyone owned lending.club, which no one does, and the registration fee is $46,000.
My question is, should a company such as Lending Club have the right to own this domain at the going rate for .club domains or be forced to pay the premium cost?
*I am not affiliated with Lending Club*
