Hi, i received this email from NameCheap recently..

Help EFF on MoveYourDomainDay

One day only -- transfers are just $3.98

The fifth annual MoveYourDomainDay lands February 2. It's our most important annual event, your chance to move a domain to Namecheap, save a bundle, and score a win for internet activism all at the same time. On MoveYourDomainDay, transfers* are only $3.98 each. You get an extra year on your domain in most cases -- plus an SSL certificate and secure Private Email service.

For every domain transferred on Feb. 2, Namecheap will donate between $0.50 and $1.50 to watchdog group EFF, the Electronic Frontier Foundation. EFF is the world's biggest advocate for online access rights and privacy -- web users are lucky to have them watching our backs. Over the last four years of MoveYourDomainDay, Namecheap has donated over $200K to EFF. Let's make 2016 a record-breaker. Thanks for your help.

Anyone remember how this works? I was around for last year's but can't remember how it worked. But this year I have a lot of domains to transfer.

I wonder is Namecheap's Move Your Domain Day open for the entire day? Or is there a limit on the number of customers per day and maybe the promo will run out quickly?

And also if last year had a limit on the number of transfers per customer?

Thanks!

Namecheap is honestly not as good as NameSilo and Uniregistry..

but when they have these $3 transfer or .99 transfer specials it's worth it. That's my honest 2c :)

I've been using NameCheap for many years and without any problems. Their live support has been particularly good. They have always gone above and beyond. I just transferred in 50 domains.

I agree on live support, I only got an account with them a few days ago and used chat four times, 2 inquiry and 2 troubleshooting and they were stellar. Even right at the opening of Transfer day, they must have had all hands on deck, I didn't have any wait time.
