I have a domain on my radar that actually expired a number of years ago but has been locked on the server side status via ServerDeleteProhibited
I have spent a few days going back and forth with the registrar and the registry and it looks like I may get this names status resolved so it can be registered again. My question is what process would the domain go through before becoming available? Would it have to go through a pending delete stage or would it just be deleted from the server immediatly since the name actually expired a very long time ago?
Is anyone familiar with this process? Any info would be greatly appeciated.
