BJ99.org for $900 ? really ? I thought it was probably around $100

I would have guessed around $50. I don't know. I'm curious about this as well because I have some similar domains.

Bj (beijing) followed by 2 matching numbers are extremely limited. Their are less than 50 similiar combinations possible in .com, .net, and .org combined. Bj is not just a random meaningless 2 letters, and neither is 99.

30 possible combinations to be exact.

It depends on who is the serious buyer. BJ99 is a good name...Beijing99

I work it out this way.
Let say BJ99.com is estimated $18000 ( if there's serious end user buyer! )
BJ99.org is 5% of .com value ie $18000x5/100 = $900

Assume .org is 5% of .com value

I could be wrong anyway!

As with any investment it's best to see and be able to justify the value to yourself before others realize it.Thank you so much for your input.
Just want to add you should probably contact the buyer In the example you gave and see what they would sell it for, that would give you a better idea how things are.
