With just under a month to go before NamesCon, this is a perfect time to prepare, pre-network, and talk about the powers of networking at the conference. NamesCon is not only a place to educate yourself in domain name investing from some of the best in the business, but it is also an excellent place to build your network of fellow domain investors, representatives from service providers, and industry sponsors.

It's a great place to find a domain investment mentor or a business partner. Many domain sales and acquisitions happen face to face at industry events, too. You can even spend some time networking to form a group in which you can bounce ideas off of each other. The benefits of networking are immense and can really help to close new deals, find new avenues for investment, or simply discuss business with a group of like-minded people.

Although NamesCon is a four-day event, we all know that schedules can get very full thanks to all of the great opportunities on the NamesCon agenda. With this in mind, we want to give the domain community an opportunity to do some virtual pre-networking before NamesCon in order to make the most of your time at the event. For those who can't make it to NamesCon this year, don't worry - this opportunity is open to you, too.

How To Take Part In Our Pre-Networking Event - For NamesCon Attendees
If you're going to be at NamesCon 2016, the comments section below is a great chance for you to connect with other like-minded investors before you attend the event. Are you are looking to set up meetings with other domainers, or do you just want to get to know some fellow attendees before you arrive?

If you've never been to NamesCon before, this is a good opportunity to connect with people who will be attending, in order for you to get to know some people before you go!

Whatever you're looking for, leave a comment below telling the community and let the connections begin! There's no need to give out email addresses publicly - just use the NamePros.com Private Messaging ("Conversations") system.

How To Take Part In Our Pre-Networking Event - For Non-Attendees
If you aren't going to NamesCon 2016, you can still participate in our pre-networking event!

Are you looking for a mentor? Are you looking to connect with investors in a similar niche as you? Are you looking for someone to work with you on a specific project?

Write a comment below to have other members connect with you.

Just to start this off...

Unfortunately I won't be at NamesCon (at the moment). So I'm looking for virtual networking opportunities!

I'm interested in connecting with any domainers via PM to share ideas, opportunities or sales.

You can also add me on LinkedIn:https://www.linkedin.com/in/jamesiles1

I didn't mean to make it sound like there aren't any in Canada but I'm guessing most of the events happen down south? In that case I'm also interested on virtual connections.

I met some of you at past events, including the last NamesCon in Las Vegas. I'll be attending NamesCon 2016 as well and looking forward to shaking a lot of hands again. Whether you are looking to talk about the Industry in general, need some "in-person" support for a NamePros question, or just want to share camp fire stories to see who has the biggest marshmallow on the end of their stick (it's ok to laugh, it's a joke), I look forward to meeting you there.

Let's get creative! ;)

Im looking to network with someone in Souther California. Anyone who lives in around around Garden Grove, Anaheim, Westminster area, I would love to meet you. I'm planning next year to set time where I can meet with any domainers once a week. I feel like domaining has been a bit lonely/isolated, besides the Namescon and few other meetups. What I'd like is to meet those who like to meet, share ideas, help each other, and support each other along the way. If you are going to Namescon, maybe we can meet there too. PM me.

Adding onto Eric's statement, the NamePros team will be at NamesCon in a big way this year. We're working together with NamesCon and sponsoring a Speakers Corner in the lounge area to record premium interviews with large names in domain industry. We're also recording some live footage of special events and keynotes.

Feel free to send me a PM before the event to introduce yourself so we can get better acquainted at NamesCon, or just drop by the Speakers Corner to say hello to the NamePros team. I'm looking forward to seeing you all there!

Interesting string. I am interested in meeting with all big domainers but it is unfortunate; VISA challenges are great in Nigeria.

Webinar access would be great for those who cannot attend. Paid of course.
China boot camp was the best most informative and professional presentation at last year's event.(my op)
They had several sessions on several days which was great because at times I would have liked to attend
sessions that were scheduled at the same time slot and sadly had to make a choice.
All of the sessions provided last year were great. The crew worked very long and hard to provide the quality.
Offer to pitch in if you can ;)
Stay for the live auction. It was great !

Hi Eric,
I would love to meet you, a moderator of the forum. I have read and learned from the forum. I'm relatively new as the domain experience. I'm looking to learn and also for someone who is experienced.

Looking forward to meeting you, Eric.

Eric,
Are you going to have a Namepros get together somewhere? How would you inform us, so that we would know. Once the event starts, everyone will be scattered all over the place, so it's good if there's a pre planned gather, or if there's a way we can communicate with members while we're there.

We will be in the center of the main Exhibit Hall in a partially roped off section of the lounge area. You'll see a white couch with a large sticker that reads "Speakers Corner" sponsored by NamePros.

Please feel free to stop by and chat!

Damn. Looks like we'll both be on the sidelines.

I've heard Vegas is a visor free zone.

I'm going, and I'd like to meet up with you and others.

:)

I'm dragging my poor better half with me; he's already bewildered about the entire process.
