Chinese premiums, Yes. All of my chip offers have tripled in a few weeks.. Only a matter of time before they went up! Plus, those have nice doubles.

Anything with vowels is till the same. At least for the ones I own.

Well, CP LLL with 2 letters repeating for $100 is not exactly good news.
Similar .com could have sold for $50,000-$100,000, which makes .info 1/500-1/1000 of .com
For LLLL.info that would mean less than reg fee basically.

Maybe its a steal for buyer. They shows significance awareness for .info domains I say. Many domainers are starting to be aware of .infos as well.

.com is premium real estate in the domain space, hence why it gets the most dollars. LLL.com's were gone a long time ago. When I first got into domaining 2 years ago, all the LLL.net and .org's were gone too. But now individuals are buying up other TLD and gTLD's. That fact that domainers oversaw .INFO blows my mind because it's the fourth most used extension after the big 3(com, net, org). But I have connections that told me biz and cc were mostly bought by a couple people, then .cc and .info started catching on.

Point is, LLL.INFO, LLLL.info, NNN.info and NNNN.info will rise in value just like the other extensions. But none of them will ever compare to .com because it's the most sought after.

That chart does not look too good. Obviously, there were almost 2 times more info domains just 3 years ago.
And currently, net, org, info, biz all are leaking registrations...

.info still have 2.5 times as many registered names as .biz, 5.1 to 2.1, big difference.

The only extension I'm curious about that i have overlooked is .xyz. Came out almost 18 months ago and already 1.5 million registered. Until I saw that chart, I didn't understand all the rage. Now it makes sense. But .INFO ad .BIZ have been around for a while.

Don't look figures based on the past records. Analyse the figures from the last 2-3 months which is the time when Chinese factor came into play.

So where will .xyz be in 5 years? thats the real question. short term is good only if long term will be better.

If I knew who was buying .xyz and why, I'd pickup some myself. But not sure what the specific demographic is. In the meantime I will just keep waiting for NNNN.info's the appreciate and go from there. This whole number thing is good and bad at the same time. Domainers are totally ignoring other domains besides numbers. For example, selling 5678.net right now is easy, but I think a strong one word domain like cheese.com would be very difficult. It's like the gold rush, except numbers lol.

Well if you hand registered them at the $3 then your up for sure. Range is still broad though, they are selling from $15-300 right now. Funny thing is that those two that sold for $300, neither one had 8. I bet a 88 or 888 repeater could fetch a much higher price. As well, lots of the NNNN.info's aren't really for sale. Lots of individuals have pulled them. I don't see much on GD or Flippa. For the price they were at, odds are most domainers are going to buy and hold rather than flip NNNN.info because the yearly renewal is cheaper than any other domain extension.

I pushed three LLL chips to auction at the peak of LLLL chip prices. Two sold for 20 (no further bids other than the original offer) and the other got one more bid up to 25 @ GD. That should give you an idea of current demand. I was happy to dump the last of them and I won't be dipping my toe back into .info any time soon unless it's something very special.

Sad you didn't list them here. I see a few chips in the mid xx range in auction. I also received over 3 offers of over $60 or more for a few of my chips here on NP. I can't speak for the whole extension but i can say with certainty that all LLL infos had been going up in price for the last few weeks. I own close to 40 and have been in talks for 20 or so more in the last two weeks. I think it's about time. Whoever won your chips got great prices. LLL with vowels in another story and prices are everywhere.

NNNNN infos are also going up.

The idea behind listing on GD was more exposure to Chinese buyers as I know they monitor GD auctions. Having had them for nearly a year with no inquiries, no bids and no interest whatsoever with low bins on some marketplaces, I was happy to see the back of them. Perhaps they didn't have any meaning in Chinese or perhaps it's a lack of demand from Chinese buyers, I'm not sure. Anyway thought i'd share my experience with 3 lll.info chips .

I think LLL.info with vowels also have the potential. I have seen in auctions that for 3 Letters, it does not matter much wheather they are with vowels or without. I have seen 3 Letters ".Biz with vowels" doing very well in auctions.

What are your thoughts?
