thx a lot and great to be part of that community now. i already read a lot, and also lost a lot of money. but, its just money. imporant is the passion behind. other people gamble in a saloon or in vegas. so, i know the domains are pretty good, but it would be nice to hear from others how much they think they can bring.
i can use them also with a good project but i dont have the time to handle it ;(

If jedaprin is happy to make fun of other people's appraisals, thats fine....however... before you take him/her seriously, go onto every new global extension thread and see what names he/her has registered, also ask him/her how many of them he has sold

Ok, but before you go and register it, just ask yourself "why is this name available?"

.DE is a great extension and the strongest cctld that has result sales every week. Also consider the language before registering names, there are lots of English and German words sold in this extension, but make sure you research it before buying any names, make sure you understand the german market before jumping

You need to research more then because .com.de is not good and is a new extensions, it wont be widely adopted and you are better off sticking to .DE if you really want to delve into the german domains

PremiumWeed.de is ok but I think it will be hard to sell, if at all

i did some mistakes in the beginning but ok. i still breathe and be ok.
there are millions of builders or painters or academics outside, why everybody say better you leave it?!
same in photography. very rar to find a good one you can work with.

i think if a domain is available, is like in ebay or amazon when you did some big deal you normal wont did lol

I really like premierweed.de BUT it is illegal in Germany. WHO is going to buy the domain.?

honestly i see some bad debates here

some people think that the new extensions have no value just without any reason and they ignore the many sales history of them.

but the new extensions not all of them are good and not with two words.. only one word names have value...try to use namebio.com to see how many domains are sold every day in the new extensions..maybe there are also two word names have sales history but this is rare and only the very strong two words like ..credit cards. forex trading...

This happens in the beginning with all new extensions, have a look at all the new ext threads/sales from the past, and then look a thread and the recent sales???

This happens every year with various new extensions, the registry makes money because most of those nice sales are reserved names sold by the registry

i think the good domainer who buys his domains for the reg fee not more so this reg fee is not wasting of money and does not worth any bad debates

it is a good deal to buy a name for 10$ and sell it for 100$ and more..while some people bought domains in .com for xxx and xxxx and they cant sell them now or get some money back because the market changed ..why its Unfortunately?

and by the way talking about why this name is available and that must mean a big secret and it has no value...no that does not mean any secret and does not say any thing.. because every name..all of these names that are sold now for xxxx were available and some people registered them and there wasn't any secret... and also the domains of the value 1 million and more .com someday they were available and then registered...so there is no any secret believe me guys

I agree...starting out try to stick to .com. Unless you come across a really great, short, one word domain. Read up on the more popular extensions and start following the trends. A great place to start is reading domaining(dot)com blog. Good Luck
