Last Friday, 13/11/15. I negotiated a deal for two domains with Julio Martinez who controls a flippa account for DomainMarket.com ( Domain_Market at flippa) He rejected my offer on a third domain according to him it was already sold (so obviously he could check the status of domains if they were sold or not). I made payment of low $x,xxx right away, and sent him a message in sales completion area to push domains to my enom account.

He did not reply to any messages of mine and an email. finally i caught him today at namepros.com where he tells me he will look into it, and later informs that domains were sold.

Looking at the whois for both domains i can tell, they still belong to DomainMarket.com, and there is no recent whois updates/change.

Yesterday, Julio was very active at flippa on responding to my offers, and making counter offers, but didn’t have any respect for me as a buyer to respond to my messages in sales completion area.

Avoid DomainMarket.com, and specially avoid dealing with Julio martinez.

ndlm.com - Updated Date: 2015-08-21T10:00:39.00Z

Today, Julio is very active in responding, sudden change of behaviour.

Edit: He claims domains were removed from domainmarket.com once they were sold, but hey I could see them listed until yesterday, checked few times in last days.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Julio and DomainMarket.com didnt do anything wrong at all, everyone knows he is a consummate professional. Some times when names are sold it takes a few days for whois and other databases to be updated fully.

Always anonymous fools posting BS. I dont think forums should have any anon unverified posting.

That's fine, but why wouldn't he say a word about it until today? He had the time to make counter offers, but couldn't alert me on the status of domains? I could have requested refund earlier and get my money back from flippa escrow.

I am wrong in doing what? Do you expect me to just shut up and not raise voice against such business practices? Sore loser? meet Julio Martinez, incompetent loser that you have appointed to represent your business at flippa.

Julio could have responded to my messages, which i tried 3 times at flippa. I sent him email to his personal email adress which was listed at flippa sales completion area. finally he responded to me at namepros today.

How come he was at flippa making counter offers, updating listed prices as he updated for one from $2000 to $4000. Oh! so you guys finally realised that prices have doubled in last couple of days?

kzpn.com priced at $4000 now, so you guys won't make mistakes of selling names for $1500 anymore lol

@Mike Mann I've reached out to Julio to see how someone on your team "Accepted" these offers, and why they did so if a) they were priced incorrectly, or b) if they were no longer available. If you wish to discuss, PM me.

Apparently you don't know @MikeMann. I suggest you read up a little more on domaining. I would also suggest a little respect.

And you can keep your mentoring tone to yourself. I assume Mike Mann can write for himself and he did and he does not have any need in minions...

Respect goes both ways. How can one have respect for another who called him a fool and a loser? Not to come to defense Bro in any way, but from the way I see it he was just trying to clarifying the matter.

All it takes is a simple nice reply to clear the matter. Instead, there's a lot of put down. I am in utterly shock and had to rub my eyes several times to be sure that I am reading the right comment from Mike. I have the utmost respect for what he does but this is just simply shocking.

In my humble opinion, it doesn't matter how successful, wealthy, or powerful a person is... humbleness and politeness goes a long way. Heck, even the president of the US or Bill Gates doesn't dare calling someone a fool.

Anyway, I am no body and my comments really meant nothing. Just passing through.

I'm from DC. We generally don't butter people up prior to telling the truth.

Unless you are a politician I suppose

@Mike Mann I don't think your manners is representative of DC to say the least. I think that by now you should be repentant of some of your language and exhibited lack of public decorum. A nice "Sorry, I will help you look into the matter" would have been more representative of DC and Mr Mann's many years experience domaining.

Just a humble thought. Kindness is essential to good manner. If we can't bring them up, then don't put them down. Regardless of who we are or where we are from, human beings do not have any right to make one another feel worse via insults or put down. Even the folks who brought them into this world don't even have such right. Who are we to feel so privileged with this negative endeavor?

Compassion and a deep sense of understanding also go a long way. It can lead to a harmonious path of healthier living and a better mindset.

My one cent... passing through.

Mike Mann doesn't strike me as a very pleasant man, and neither does Andrew Rosener if his private messages on here are anything to go by.

I don't mind Rick Schwartz who clearly has a big ego and shoots from the hip but at least seems to typically remain polite.

Frank Shilling comes across as an absolute gentleman. But a lot of these big name domainers come across like horrible arrogant people.

They could learn a lot from my favourite domainer, somebody who has achieved more than all of them.... the real godfather of domaining, Mr Kevin Ham. Funny how newbies don't often know who he is because he doesn't waste his time trying to get people to kiss his backside or getting into fights... just gets on with making milllions.

Mike Mann and Andrew Rosener clearly like to talk down to people because it makes them feel big, but they will never be Kevin Ham and they know it..... the bloke flew to Africa to sit around the table with the president of Cameroon to negotiate a deal to redirect all .cm typo traffic to his parked pages.... it made him $70m.... genius move, and nobody else has ever come close to pulling off a stroke like that.

All hail the godfather....
