My Accounts have been hacked. Do not respond until I clearly confirm. My accounts are still hacked

best of luck resolving your situation. you've been one of best and friendliest guys round here.
we all hate it when bad things happen to good people.
keep posted. maybe the resolution can help prevent similar things to others in future.

How did you get hacked?

Virus? Trojan? Phising emails?

Damn... hope you get everything sorted out.

Sounds like it's definitely a domainer that did this... maybe someone who has beef with you/ that you know.

Time to improve security :)

My Flippa account has been hacked. My GoDaddy. My Email.

DO NOT answer anything from my email address, or Flippa account until I officially cease control again.

:'( Noted. Here's wishing you a speedy recovery. Take care.

I hope you aren't using Windows anymore. I doubt phishing emails were the reason, there are other ways too, as someone mentioned about thieves stealing login details with a Google Chrome/Browser extensions and that's scary!

Good luck Ali!

The most disturbing thing is the email hack. Hope you quickly recover that first.

Guys, always use different passwords for Email accounts, Registrars, Forum etc.

My Flippa account has been hacked. My GoDaddy. My Email.

DO NOT answer anything from my email address, or Flippa account until I officially cease control again.

Please inform us when you can, how it happened. I'm ever fearful it will happen to me one day. I use two factor wherever I can.

Hope it works out.

Yup, my email address was hacked first. Then I was shut out of everything else. They tried to sell my domain names. I have multiple security features, so all they are (hopefully) able to do is ruin my mood for a few hours. So far, no domains have been stolen but a lot of auctions were tampered with, all my accounts have been hacked and they are trying their pathetic little hearts out to steal my domains.

It was bound to happen sooner or later, as i remember during the 2007-2008 LLLL.com fever a lot of scammers came out of woordwork. more such situation will take place once again. It's just the beginning...

Sorry to hear that @Ali Zandi. Hope you sort it out soon.

Btw, I suggest to use Google 2 step verification if you are using Gmail. Protecting master Email is the key to protecting rest of the accounts.

Hope it helps everyone who is reading this post.

It's sad, but it's a rude awakening. This will be handled. Whoever you are, I will find you.

Ali, just curious.. did you have 2 factor auth enabled at your email account, or not? I am asking this because there might be a way to bypass this somehow (like someone did with the 2 factor auth at a certain Registrar as documented in an tech article some months ago)..

where's a will, there's a way..

I did not, I had it on GD Exchange email... like a noob. I've recovered 80% of everything. Changed email to much more secure host, and enabling 230987450927958 step auth wherever I can.

Nah, didn't gain access to PayPal. Retrieved 90% of my accounts. Still have to dig for what else could have come of it. But so far, looks like anything important is safe and secure. Unlike the person who did this.
