We believe the domain reselling scenario will change over the next few years ... (3 - 4 - 5)
New gTLDs will start having research and value 4 - 5 years after their launch (2018 -2019 in our
opinion).
Today almost nobody believes in new gTLDs ... We do; that´s why we registered some strong
keywords (which make sense left+right) and will wait until the market conditions change:
and be sure all this conditions will change !!! Why, just because we are living in a chinese
bubble (euphoria) wich will end for sure in 1 or 2 years from now ... Everybody want´s a piece of
this "growing" chinese market but the truth is just few people understand the meaning of chinese
letters and numbers (apart the chinese, of course ...) and only these few people are making big
money at this moment. The majority are loosing or making very, very litlle money with the chinese
bubble. Traditionally chinese people are NOT domain investors, they are new incommers, maybe
they will stay, maybe not, will see in a couple of years ... but what is sure is that experinced and
traditional domainers are western people, overall americans and europeans ... And western people
don´t understand the value and don´t see any beauty on domains like: qkyx.com or 235614.com ...
just to give an example. They are buying this type of domains today, because they know there are
many people who want to buy this type of domains and hope for a quick flip, but none western domainer
will register or buy this type of domains to sit on them for a 5 - 10 - 15 years term ! We believe, at the
velocity the chinese market is buying this "valuable" .COMs overall numerical and short domains in 1 or 2
years they would have bought all those the have significant meaning and value for them and all this
euphoria will end. That will be the moment when western domainers (the majority) will return to search for
beautiful and valuable english keywords. At that moment the New gTLDs will play an important role in this
domaining game. More people will have knowledge about the new gTLDs, many start-ups will start playing
attention to them and easy, easy the new gTLDs will get their place on our life and business ... There will be a factor that may even give more value to the new gTLD over his matching dot COM: "Shorter is Better". Every year, the number of people accessing internet from mobile devices is growing; typing short domains on that devices is a lot more easier than typing large ones ... so we belive that domains like:
Sex.cam will have more value than SexCam.com because they are 3 characteres shorter ... and also if you take a closer look to this two domains you will realise that Sex.cam is not only a rival for SexCam.com, he does also for Sex.com because the domain keyword is SEX and the extension is .CAM
We are NOT saying that Sex.cam will have the same or more value than Sex.com ... we are saying that Sex.cam for sure will be worth more than SexCam.com
Let´s make some numbers: Sex.com was sold for $14,000,000 USD
Let´s appraise SexCam.com in a range of $300,000 to $1,000,000 USD
In this scenario 4 - 5 years from now Sex.cam value will be at list $1,000,000 to $3,000,000 USD
(our opinion) and all this because is 3 characters shorter and that means a lot when talking about domains. We took Sex.cam as a random example; we don´t own that domain, but our opinion applies to any comparison between a new gTLD with his matching dot COM !!!
