Selling domains on eBay - Good, bad or ugly??

Should be ok

I have sold close to 100 domains on Ebay never had a problem, except for buyer not paying once, but if you don't transfer domain before payment is secured it's all good

is paypal still required on ebay?

(paypal is a separate company now.)

I've never sold any on eBay, but I've heard mixed stories. Some people have great experiences with no issues, others I've heard of charge backs once the domain has been pushed. Remember that it's an intangible item so winning a case can be more difficult.

If you're gonna do it then I think it's probably safest to keep it with cheaper names. Don't go selling your $XXX or $XXXX+ domains on there and you won't run much risk if something bad happens.

Thanks for the input guys. I had figured to start with lower priced ones, especially if chargebacks could be an issue.

I usually sell them for mid $xx to Low $xxx on Ebay, but even selling lower price domains there, you will often come across buyers asking, what else/better you may have for sale!

That's when you can throw out those names in from of buyer and arrange Escrow payment maybe..

eBay is a great place to sell domains.
I sold a lot of 4L on eBay in the last months. They were selling for higher price and fees are only 10%.
